bruuuuce
I ordered sealant and a sealant/waxing pad (black pad) and I received a glazing pad (red). I am 100% confident the Adam's reseller will take care of me no biggie there. My question is can I use the red pad in place of the black pad? 0 Chris@Adams
I have never used the Red pad for sealants but I don't see where it would hurt, all you are doing is spreading the product anyway.
0 mc2hill
I believe they are the same foam, just different colors.
0 Natch02
Yes I use the red to spread quick sealant. I am pretty sure also its the same!!
0 Team Adam's
They are slightly different foam structures, but for the purposes of sealing/glazing/waxing, you can use either of them interchangeably. I often grab whichever one happens to be on the top of the pile in the cabinet, and my paint hasn't burned off.....yet.
0 Ricky Bobby
Based on the manufacturer's color scheme and table, the black is considered a "finishing pad" while the red is an "ultra finishing", either way they both have no cut and are good for spreading LSP's. You should be good to go,
