Protecting carbon fiber

Hey guys putting an APR/Carbonio carbon fiber intake on the wifes VW Tiguan tonight.  What would you do to protect it before install?  It will be removed once every spring as I like to change the filter after winter because it draws air through the rad support and front grill.

Seal it with Quick Sealant

Yep... quick sealant or liquid paint sealant.

Awesome, would you bother claying it if it is brand new in the package?  Or just clean it with waterless and then seal it?

I have a solid carbon fiber hood on the Vette and all I use on it, even on the inside, is Patriot or Americana.  3 years, no problems

I have been itching to use either my patriot or Americana since neither have been used.  I put quick sealant on it last night before install but maybe a coat of either could be fun today.
