VMRamos
Hello everyone! It's payday and I received my direct deposit. After 2 weeks of considering it, and a mystery box trial, I decided to make a substantial commitment (at least in my eyes as a college student) to Adam's Polishes. After reading tons of reviews and learning so much, I felt like this was the kind of company that I wanted to do business with. To start off my journey with Adam's Polishes, I decided on the following: 1-Car Wash Shampoo 1-Deep Wheel Cleaner 1-Tire Shine (with free half moon sponge) 1-Metal Polish #1 1-Detail Spray 1-Soap Bucket 1-Rinse Bucket 1- Car Wash Wedge 1-10" Car Wash Pad 2-Great White Microfiber Drying Towel 2-Single Soft Towel From previous mystery box: 1-H2O Guard and Gloss 1-Buttery Wax I'm very excited to receive my package filled with all the tools I need to make my car look the way it should. I'm glad to be a part of this community now and I'm looking forward to learning a lot from everyone's experience and expertise! Feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything! -Victor
rkj4243
Welcome Victor. GREAT start to your Adam's collection! Only items you did not mention were All Purpose Cleaner, use to clean tires, wheel wells, etc., Super VRT (vinyl, rubber, and trim) dressing, and the brushes or applicators used for these particular products. Your car looks great as well, be sure to post up additional photos showing different angles. Edited October 23, 2015 by rkj4243

mc2hill
Welcome Victor! I would leave out the Rinse bucket, but get a 2nd Grit Guard. The Gamma Seal buckets are great, but I use a generic 5 gallon bucket for the rinse Use that $ for APC and/or SVRT.
NG13
Welcome Victor! Looks like a very good start! as others have said, All purpose cleaner is a very useful item. And make sure to look at the kits Adam's offers, many times you can get a good deal on a bundle of stuff (i.e. the "Tire and Trim Combo" comes with an APC, SVRT, and the two block sponges are free). I think you will find that your experience with the products will be everything you have read about... I know I did! (PS another kit that I ordered and use the crap out of is the wheel brush kit, but if nothing else a wheel woolie is hard to live without once you have one!) pirahnah3
Welcome, alot of great advice above, but I would also mention that the metal polish may or may not be needed, If anything you might only need part #2 if its in really good condition. But thats me. I also agree on the buckets, I use a generic 5gal but have a GG in the bottom of each of my dedicated wash and rinse buckets. I'll post more photos soon, right now, it doesn't even look black. Haha. Welcome Victor.......Thanks for your business! Thank you Chris! Welcome Victor! I would leave out the Rinse bucket, but get a 2nd Grit Guard. The Gamma Seal buckets are great, but I use a generic 5 gallon bucket for the rinse Use that $ for APC and/or SVRT. Good idea! I guess I made the commitment to these buckets already but thank you for the suggestion. The buckets came with the grit guards, so that's good! Welcome Victor! Looks like a very good start! as others have said, All purpose cleaner is a very useful item. (PS another kit that I ordered and use the crap out of is the wheel brush kit, but if nothing else a wheel woolie is hard to live without once you have one!) I ended up getting a few combo's when I made the order. Tried to save money! Lol. I cannot wait to NOT stress out about my car shampoo drying and leaving water spots until I thoroughly get the rest of the car wiped down! Gonna have to consider the wheel brush kit, I invested in Work Wheels and they deserve to be taken care of! I have a Perrin brushed aluminum cat back, so it's in pretty good condition. I appreciate the advice! I'm probably going to need to return it for part #2. It's not as powerful I'm assuming? Welcome Chris! We appreciate your business. H2O Guard and Gloss is going to look great on your black paint. Thank you Jessica! Haha just kidding, I can't wait to use the G&G! Can I apply detail spray once I rinse the car so it doesn't leave water spots until I can get to each panel and apply the G&G? I figure it's going to take me a while on my first application. Welcome Chris?? Who's Chris? Welcome Victor! That's a nice looking ride and it will be even better with Adam's. Haha I'm glad you caught that! But thank you! Can't wait to apply everything! Welcome to the forum Victor! Great start to your Adam's addiction! I would love to see some more pics of that black beauty! Gonna have to post more when she's all clean! I'm absolutely in love with her, so thankful! I think I may start washing all the cars on campus! TheWolf
pirahnah3
Its not that Part #1 or #2 are not as powerful its that they are meant to be used as a stepped process with #2 offering more of the polishing shine while #1 seems to do the majority of the work. If you check out the item page and watch the vid of Adam cleaning the rim with it you should get a good understanding of the polish. I really love it on the chrome steps on my truck as well as bumpers it really does an awesome job with little effort.
