About the new paste wax

I just tried Adams new Americana Paste Wax for the first time. I don’t know but when I applied it if I was using too much, it seemed like it takes longer to haze over than the old paste wax. But then again where I live we have high humidity. I’m not waxing out in the sun but under a carport. Don’t get me wrong I like the results just wondering if this is normal. thanks

It doesn't really dry out as fast as the previous formula (one of the biggest complaints) which is why its so easy to apply and remove - I have let it set up for 15 mins and even left it a few hours and it really looks the same on the surface, removes like butter.

yeah I think when I started on the roof I applied too much. I tried to thin it out when I got to the rest of the car..

I just did my dark red car with the new Americana. If I could see, even slightly, that there was any wax on the car, I considered that enough. Removed residue maybe 5-10 minutes after application. EASY removal and the car looks great. Easiest to use paste wax I ever have used!

As stated above the long cure time is normal, but the sun doesn't seem to cook it like many other waxes.

I use a DA to apply wax just for the purpose of applying a light, even coat. Helps a lot during hand removal!
