Ls1transam
So in the videos Adam talks about letting the soap dry on the car and it rinses off clean and streak free. That's never been the case with me. It ALWAYS streaks after rinsing. Am I the only one here? What is causing this?

0 1911A1
I used to wash and rinse a section at a time and raced against time trying to finish and dry. Now I do like the video and wash my whole truck and then rinse but with one change.First I only do this in the shade but what works for me is before rinsing I re wet the vehicle with the suds left in my wash bucket.I just sort of sling the soapy water off my wash pad over the whole truck and then rinse I know, sounds weird but it works for me.I just received a foam gun and it should make it super easy to do the same thing. My full size truck is a lot of real estate and it's black.A lot of soap ends up drying before I'm done but so far it rinses off perfect every time. 0 mc2hill
Once you have washed the car, clean your mitt again and reload it with soap. Â Now go over the whole car again to 'reactivate' the soap. Â You can do this quickly, as it is already clean. Â You may need to reload the mitt once or twice to do the whole car. Â Now spray down the car, then do the pool rinse and you are ready to dry. Living in humid Florida this is my approach, even with my black truck. Â Â A shout-out to Chris@Adams for this tip many years ago Edited August 22, 2016 by mc2hill Chris@Adams and Mariner

I do it all the time on black vehicles in the sun.
0 TheWolf
You're supposed to let the soap dry on your vehicle?? I guess I missed that video.. Not supposed to, but if having it dry is unavoidable, then you can reactivate the dried residue before the rinse per the above posts. 0 PHOKUS
I own a black car, wash in the sun pretty often, and have never encountered this issue. Â On good paint, Adam's soap always rinses clean. The only time I get streakiness is on paint with dead/dying clear that's gone porous, or the water I'm using is mineral-rich. If you have hard water, compensate with additional soap. Â A foam gun or cannon is a great solution. Another great solution is Rinseless Wash. It compensates for hard water even better than Car Shampoo. Â Good luck! 0 PostalTwo
You're supposed to let the soap dry on your vehicle?? I guess I missed that video..the video dosent say to let it dry. It just states that it's better to have soap dry then the hard water from your hose . So just soap the whole vehicle first and rinse one time PHOKUS
0 sectachrome
My car is black and I do the re-soap real quick if it's drying really fast. I got the foam gun recently and it makes it a lot easier to just keep spraying down areas that are drying.  Do you use detail spray as a drying agent? That could help wipe off any streaks as you dry too.

0 GXPaycheck
A little Rinseless Wash in the soap as a drying agent may help.
0 AvsBest
Not sure if that's what you mean but when I dry with the great white towel I get streaking too but disappears on its own within 15 sec or so... Then after the whol car is done with one towel, I use another one just to finish it off clean
