Where to buy a simple old fashioned car wash sponge?

iono11200

Question

I apologize if this has been covered previously. For years I simply cannot find a decent car washing sponge. I'm NOT a fan of car wash mitts. I'm just looking for a simple old fashioned car wash sponge that will last for more than one or two washes. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The only other car washing option Adams offers beside the new car wash mitt is their wash pad, they sell it individually and in a 3 pack.  I quite enjoy using them as they hold lots of soap and keep well lubricated, plus with them being whiteish you can see contamination fairly easily. I don't know if I would recommend a sponge to wash your car, that will likely lead to swirls and scratches.

Single Pad:

3 Pack:

I have used Adams wash pad for a bit now and they work great. It will definite last more than a few washes. After every wash put it on a grit guard and spray it off, then set it somewhere where it will dry without getting dirt on it.

As other's stated; try Adam's Wash Wedge. It is a sponge material, but made specifically for the safe cleaning of automotive paint. It'll pull the dirt from the vehicle's surface into itself rather than just pushing it around like a grout sponge does.
