Nathan
What do you guys use to clean these? I normally use the all purpose cleaner but I was wondering if Tire and rubber cleaner would work better?
0 Mariner
APC, soapy water, and the fender brush. For me, that's satisfactory for the purpose they serve.
0 falcaineer
Then add some UCS to make them really black and disappear. Plastic ones, that is. Not the felt types.
0 Chris@Adams
I use APC to clean and then I hit them with UCS.
0 Mariner
Although last time I did a super thorough detail, I applied HGG to the plastic in my wheel wells using the dry method, and they looked great for far longer than when I used Undercarriage Spray. Just a thought. Junior and Nathan

0 BluedogGMC
Depends on hat type you have now. My 2015 GMC Sierra has like a felt like wheel well and I just use either Car Shampoo or occasionally APC.
0 astro-jason
Mine are plastic, I use car wash soap, dry then VRT makes cleaning the next time that much easier. -Jason

Just a thought. Good idea! I also saw a post where I think Dan stated the trim coating would work on the plastic wheel wells. Might help keep them cleaner and darker. 0 Junior
To the OP I believe tire and rubber cleaner would work fine on plastic wheel wells. It probably has a little more oomph. I would def try to use diluted APC. If that doesn't get you the result you desire give the Tire cleaner a shot.

0 LT1xL82
A pressure washer seems to do well on the felt like wheel wells. Also does well asa first pass on plastic wheel wells but the plastic really benefits from followup with a brush/sponge/towel/whatever for some agitation.
