I have been doing a full detail and paint correction on my wifes car the past few days. Today was correcting the drivers side and roof. The driver side went well, (3 step correction), doing just a single pass on the roof with orange pad etc... after a very small area on the roof, i stopped to brush out the pad and found this.
I had washed the vehicle last night, waterless wash today and clay mitt before the correction.
Mind you it has been over a year since its last wash, it has never been corrected, is outside 24/7 and a daily driver.
So 1) has anyone ever seen a car this bad before, if so all insight is invited.
And 2) can pads go in the washing machine? I've cleaned it twice by hand with APC and Microfiber revitalizer and its still a little rough (second pic)
