Hi All, I am sprucing up my aunt's 2003 Honda Odyssey. Did the interior today. The center piece of the blasted steering wheel is ridicoulsly sticky. And while every other piece of interior needed a good deep clean, there was only one other spot that was similarly sticky. It was the vinyl over the air bag on the dash. But it wasn't quite as bad.
So I went to town with Leather and Interior Cleaner and a lot of crap came off on the microfiber, but still sticky. I read a past post to try APC diluted. What do you all have for me? Is this some sort of vinyl weirdness? Does it have to do with the chemicals from the airbag? Has anyone else come across this? She lives in FL, she said she noticed it a few years ago. Do I just need to try harder?
Also any tips on how to scrub without honking the horn? LoL my neighbors might kill me...
Here is a pic. You can see fuzz and God knows what else stuck to it.
