Hi Gian,

For me the choice is pretty simple when it comes to drying aides.  Hands down, it is Detail Spray.  If the vehicle I'm working on is not Graphene coated, then I use regular detail spray.  If the vehicle is Graphene coated, then I use Graphene Detail Spray.

For maintenance on the garage queen when it gets a little dusty, it is either Waterless Wash for non-coated vehicles and CS3 or Graphene CS3 for Coated or Graphene Coated vehicles respectively.   Regular Waterless wash work greats for getting bugs off the vehicle, just give the bug a squirt and let it dwell for a minute or two and it should wipe right off, then follow up with doing the entire vehicle as needed.

So why would you not use Detail spray or Waterless wash on a coated car? I think any of those products will do the job very well. Actually CS3 would be the ideal choice for all those jobs. CS3 to me is the most versatile products from Adams and one of the all time best product they have made.

I have all the above products and I seem to always reach for CS3. I've been playing around with both Graphene Detail spray and CS3 and what I like about those 2 is the smell. Some claim they streak but I have not yet had that issue.

CS3 honestly is my all time favorite product.

I do understand the frustrating and confusion around all these products that seem to do all the same things. As I posted, CS3 is your best bet if you want 1 product that can do it all. CS3 is incredibly versatile, it can clean in-between washes , super light dust and super mild dirt as you don't want to scratch your paint. I'd rather do a full bucket wash rather than risk scratching even as good as CS3 is.

CS3 is incredible as a detail spray and all it's uses. Touch ups, drying aid I love it. I like trying all the other products except I have not got my hands on slick and slide. Honestly every time I make an order I think about it and don't get it as CS3 has no weakness. I also have the Graphene versions and the Graphene CS3 works the same as CS3 but has a better smell. It smells like Grape plums , it's really pleasant to work with. It really puts the gloss on your paint just as good and possibly better than CS3 does. But I have not done like 1/2 hood with both products which I might do just to see.

For the few dollars less, I'm totally happy with CS3 for the rest of my life. Graphene CS3 I only used a few times and as I have used it, I'm not overly impressed as CS3 is that good on it's own. it's smell is also pleasant so the Grape smell isn't enough to make me spend more money if it works the same otherwise. Time will tell I'm gonna run through a full 16 oz bottle of Graphene CS3 and then go back to CS3 and see if I miss it.

Would really like to see that comparison and your thoughts on the two.

Like you I like the CS3 that much that I am reluctant to change. Also curious if the Graphene CS3 would be worth the extra money.

Basically, what you use depends on your goals. To hit the wave tops and most common uses:

- Solely to clean? Waterless Wash

- Quick touch-up on an already clean car with some minor protection added, or as a drying aid? Detail Spray or Graphene Detail Spray

- Hyper slick surface and some nice shine on an already clean car, and NOT as a drying aid? Slick & Slide

- Clean, add some shine and more protection, also for use as a drying aid? CS3 or Graphene CS3

Also, I recommend you try and stay within the same product family to best compliment your protection. For example, use any of the Graphene lineup with the Graphene Ceramic coatings.

Hope that helps boil some of it down. Let us know if you still need any help!

SO far it's a toss up. I like the smell of the Graphene CS3 which can fool you into it's better. It's more pleasurable to use as the scent is awesome. It's a noticeable difference when you go back to CS3. But CS3 works so good, the improvements that are with Graphene are hard to tell. Especially since I wash. my car once a week and it always has crazy beading. When I started using Graphene Detail Spray, I thought the smell was very nice. Detail spray also smells amazingly good . Both products do their job top notch. I'm not sure if Graphene Detail spray replaces Detail Spray. For me I don't need  a in between touch up spray to last more than a few weeks anyway. And again with the extra money they both cost over the standard versions, I'm not so sure at least for me are worth it. Now IF the protection is that much better and It resisted Water spots and Bird Droppings better, I would say hell yeah, I would absolutely pay extra for the Graphene BUT Since I started using the Graphene products, I have not noticed a reduction in water spots and I got some bird droppings on m y mirror and it still left marks. I had to polish them off. So the protection benefits of Graphene CS3 don't seem to be any better.

Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible product and If CS3 went away I would have to switch to Graphene CS3 and I would be totally happy. The extra money at that point wouldn't matter as I couldn't get CS3 anymore. So I hope Adam's continues to offer both versions as some may want to use the Graphene version. I don't think I'm gonna change anyones mind as my car stays in the garage most of the time. I did have to drive it to work for a few months and I sweated it every single day as our parking lot has a lot of trees and the birds constantly poop on everyones car. I damn near wanted to buy a car cover so I can protect my paint. I even tried laying Adam's Polishes Graphene Liquid wax and I don't think it helped at all.

Let me be frank, Someone needs to offer a protection wax spray or coating aside of PPF to protect the paint from Bird Droppings. This is a very common thing that happens to everyone car at some point or another. You could be just out for a drive and get splattered. I know as it has happened to me many times and I want to buy a B gun and shot those damn bastards.
