Waterless Car Wash

TR6speed

Question

Man do I love this stuff. Friday night 10 of our club cars help a local high school in the Homecoming event. We arrived at the school at 6:30 and parked the cars in a grassy area. Of course they drew a crowd of the students, parents and faculty. We were there for about an hour and a half before the halftime event. Well as you can imagine there was a nice layer of dust covering the car. Having a open car show early the next day, the first thing I did when I got home was get out the WCW and get started. I finished that phase in a short time and then got to work on the interior, wheels and engine touch up. Saturday morning (7:00 am) off to the show. Again in a grass field (just my luck) Rear hatch open, hood open and windows down (15 - 20 mph wind all day) Exterior covered with layer of dust Interior covered with layer of dust leaves and grass in the rear hatch area along with the same in the engine compartment.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

My plan was to wash the car today and clean up the interior and engine compartment (again). Oh look there is a hurricane in the gulf that may send heavy rain and wind my way on Tuesday. Break out the WCW again. Completed the complete clean up in about two hours, the WCW as about 20 minutes. Man I love this stuff (did I already say that). I will be ordering the gallon refill tomorrow, as I can see I will be using this product as much as the Detail Spray.<o:p></o:p>

Thank you Adam for another great product.<o:p></o:p>

It was a good layer and there were a few spots of something stuck on the finish. Not sure what it was but it was not loose grass or dirt. I will use the detail spray on garage dust, but once I drove it about 40 miles round trip and sat in the field all day, I trust the WCW to remove the dirt and not harm the finish.

Jack,

2 events and no pics???:willy::willy:

Don't you know the rules??

I also love the WCW. I used it on our Vette yesterday and my husband was totally amazed at how fast I got it all nice and clean again. :2thumbs:

I did not bring the camara on Friday night, because it was dark and the pictures would not come out that good (so I thought). On Saturday, I just simply forgot it.

Shame on you!;)

I know I know. Oh well I will remember next time, or at least use my cell phone camara.

I just placed an order for the special gallon refill, 16oz bottle and one blue drying towel, as well as two more glass towels. Man I wish Adam would slow dowh with the new products. At this rate I may turn the national economy around by myself. I think this was at forth order in the past month or so.

I know the feeling. There is so much I want to buy. I am doing it slowly through Adam's website and local dealers.

Dear god this product is awesome, I really wish this came with the sample kit i bought. I ended up just buying the bottle by itself but i need to buy the whole adams kit. One drawback though is my microfibers SUCK, so i need to invest in a whole new set from Adams.

I am not happy with the WCW but am I doing something wrong?

I used it on my blue honda and it seemed to work great.

I used it on the black Jeep and I saw two things.

1) is seems to leave overspray quite a bit.

2) maybe I'm not wiping it down good enough but this morning (day after wiping the hood and fenders down) there looks to b a flim on the paint where the dew formed.

I am using the blue WCW towels but I ca see the film and streaks. Do you all go back over the area with a MF after using the WCW?

That is the one thing I didn't do. I sort of buffed it out with the WCW MF towel as I went along but it just doesn't sound right. And being that I got good results on the other car, and everyone raves about it (plus I've never had a single problem with any other Adam's product) I think this is more of a case of I'm doing something wrong than anything else.

What i do is i use my drying MF towel to wipe off all the WCW and then after i see most of the water beads gone i come back with a normal MF to buff it out and it comes out great. But when i wipe it down with just the drying towel, yes it does leave streaks and some film.

well I tried the DS after today and it def came out looking better.

as for the black, I just mean it shows everything and only stays clean for about 3.4 seconds.

Exactly why I can never get a black car. I can only keep my G8 clean for that long now and it is blue. If it was black I imagine it would dirty even quicker.
