tlsole
Hey guys, Just wondering what type of UV Sealant you guys apply after restoring your headlights if any?
JoeR
good question, i wondered this also. i polished out my moms headlights a while back and they are starting to yellow out again. I was thinking of just clearcoating them at work. Machine Superwax is a sealant, not sure if it has any type of UV protection in it

Superdutytd
There has been a lot of talk about trying to put some sort of sealant on them to stop them from yellowing again. I've never had any problems with headlights yellowing but I live in WA where its only sunny like 4 days out of the year.
Team Adam's
Use Machine Superwax it bonds well with headlights and has UV proteciton, but remember that just like anything else you need to maintain it... apply it to the headlights as often as you wax the paint. tlsole
I will give MSW a try. I was trying to read on the label about UV protection but it didnt say anything on the bottle. I'll take your word on it though!
livingwater
It probably doesn't offer any protection however I like using the Brilliant Spray Glaze on my headlight cover. The BSG makes it almost invisible

Chris@Adams
Has anyone tried Adams Clear Polish? Yes I did a demo at Corvette Carlisle with the Adams Clear Polish on a 2008 Black Z06, easy on easy off worked great!
b_pappy
Has anyone tried Adams Clear Polish? That's what I was thinking might be best. Hate to sell someone a big bottle though just to do their headlights. Well, okay, I wouldn't hate to sell it to them, I'm just figuring they will figure out how long 16 ounces will last only doing your headlights. I would think the clear polish or MSW. Adam
Good idea Tony! I like the idea of little bottles of Clear Polish as well. We'll put that on the drawing board, thanks! So, the Machine Super Wax is a good call on the lights, and if you clay, polish, and wax them as often as you do your paint, they won't oxidize quickly. Happy Thanksgiving! tlsole
Perfect, i will purchase a bottle if it does get released! Maybe we should start a poll to see how much of a demand it will be?
