Swirl and Haze Remover on Chrome

AVA182

Question

I am detailing a 1986 Rolls Royce tomorrow and the chrome in the rear is pretty bad...not rusted or anything, but a lot of swirls. I don't have metal polish and I was wondering if it is safe to use the S&H remover on the chrome? If I can't what would you all recommend?

Thanks,

it may be old news at this point, but i just used SHR to kill some nasty spots on my chrome tube steps. there were tons of little water spots and what looked like dried tree sap. regular washing and clay didnt touch the spots. SHR killed them all in about five minutes of work. loves that stuff!

I don't have many good pictures and none of the chrome but I have a few randies. I will get some more soon...these ones don't show the car that well.

The first one is before and than the other two are after

I have chrome trim around the windows on my car, and it had spots on it that wouldn't come off with washing. I was told that the spots were the result of the previous owner taking it through automatic car washes. SHR took out the spots and made it look good as new. :2thumbs:
