  1. I couldn't find the video you're talking about, I watched a few and wasn't able to find that. Whatever you do make sure you're being consistent with what it says on the bottle. Just for clarification, there's a Ceramic Liquid Wax (not a coating, and which has no cure time), there's a Ceramic Spray Coating, and a Ceramic Paint Coating. The latter two I mentioned in my previous comment. I'm not sure which Coating is the one you have, but here's some info from Adam's website: For Ceramic Spray Coating, If you read on the bottle, (look at the very top right of this picture, number 7) reads "allow 4 hours to cure" Click here for product page For Ceramic Paint Coating, the directions on the website read as follows: "Step 3: To begin the removal process, remove 1 of the supplied coating removal towels from the packaging and fold the towel into fourths. Begin wiping the coating and applying minimal pressure to the towel. Once fully removed, allow coating to fully cure for 24 hours, free from elements or weathering. Not allowing optimal time will force the coating to cure with whatever elements touches it during the curing process. Once cured, you’re free to enjoy the open road and have coated, perfected paint no matter how harsh the conditions." Click here for product page
  2. @RayS That's a great job. Sidenote: What a story of grace. Your son in law should be lucky his truck is still driveable given that color. You are an inspiration to have given him beyond what he deserved.
  3. Depending on which coating you use, you may want to wait longer. Ceramic Spray Coating has a cure time of minimum 4 hours. Ceramic Paint Coating has a cure time of minimum 24 hours I believe. Make sure to wait allow the full curing time before applying ceramic boost.
  4. Try using google chrome if you have it. also you’ll probably catch on pretty quickly.
  5. Depending in what browser you’re usung, you should be able to hover your mouse over the acronym and it should show you what it is. if not here’s a list
  6. I agree with @Rich my carpet lined wheel wells, I use app and then a fender brush and my pressure washer. And sidenote: I read somewhere that you shouldn’t use undercarriage spray on the fabric parts of the wheel well. Just so you’re aware, I learned the hard way.
  7. I agree with @RayS for both steps I would let cure overnight as a minimum.
  8. Hey welcome!! people love to help here. We’re glad to have you. I’ve got my vehicle ceramic coated and I will never look back. One of my best decisions
  9. Barrel Brush is an adjustable woolie, so you may want that. I've had one in my cart for next order. The Woolie is just a 45 degree angle woolie. I like my small wheel woolie.
  10. Ceramic trim coating? You would first clean the trim as well as possible with APC or Tire and Rubber cleaner. Not sure if surface prep will be needed prior to trim restorer. Then you would Use the Trim Restorer, and let it cure/dry for the full amount of time. (I think it's 6 hours indoor if possible) Then apply Ceramic Trim Coating and let it cure for the full cure time. (I think this is about 2 hours, the label on the product should specify) Then you should be ready to go.
  11. So that's something to take into account. Maybe you don't need the most heavy duty coating, maybe the Ceramic Spray Coating would work well for you since you don't keep in in water... - Or maybe you do, I don't really know how boat paint is affected by being submerged for long periods of time.
  12. Heavy Compound (Blue) may leave some haze, so I would suggest following the Heavy Compound with Correcting Polish (Orange) with an Orange Pad. If you feel you need a better finish, Use Finishing Polish (White) On top of the Correcting Polish. Then you will want to do a quick wipe down with Surface Prep. Surface Prep will remove the polishing oils or anything that may be on the surface to ensure that the Ceramic Coating bonds correctly. Then Use the ceramic coating of your choice. And yes you're right! No wax! Ceramic Spray Coating is one of my favorite products. It is probably the easiest way to apply a Ceramic Coating. However, the durability is less than applying the traditional Ceramic Paint Coating. I have not coated a boat, so I cannot speak to the durability. Will you be keeping your boat in water or do you keep it out of water?
  13. Welcome! You came to the right place, let us know what your goals are for your vehicles and we can help you sort through the products!
  14. I’m not sure about Vrt that’s a good question. However I would suggest the Ceramic spray coating.
  15. That’s awesome. I started using ceramic coatings less than a year ago, I didn’t realize it lasted that long.
  16. That’s an exciting package on its way to you!
  17. I think the next thing to try is clay bar very gently though. I've also read some interesting approaches from @shane@detailedreflections - he likes to use a steamer and a plastic razor, but I'll let him comment and give his suggestions for you.
  18. Ceramic spray coating is the easiest application there is. 4 hours for curing. And about 6-8 months protection when properly maintained. Really an amazing product and I don’t know how somebody dreamed this one up. the paint coating should last ~12 months. And I’ve seen great results from Adams paint coating. Traditional 24 hour cure time. other brands seem to also get good results, but Ceramic Spray Coating has my heart right now.
