  1. I just want to wish you all a happy Sunday, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. YAY spring:banana:
  2. wow! It's nice to hear that I have a good rep with the Anchorage dealers, thanks for posting that up. I wish I could have done some work for you while you were here.
  3. it's a machine that cuts the pieces for you, type in the requested info and it will cut that shape every time. This way he can scuff it up, peel it off and have brand new pieces again.
  4. he ended up buying a plotter and covering the whole thing in clear bra.
  5. it was a nice balmy 26 below zero this morning and is now up to 5 below.
  6. http://jalopnik.com/5390124/hennessey-cts+v-pulls-11+second-quarter-mile-alerts-onstar-of-emergency hahahahahahahaha, it scared the car into calling for help!
  7. It's in the 20's with 70-75 mph wind gusts, no kids gonna be out around here.
  8. very nice, looks great:thumbsup:
  9. we still don't have snow down here in Palmer:help:
  10. soooooooooooo hhhoooooooooootttt!!!!
  11. being in a climate that sees a winter is also a factor, things slow way down in winter. I even have a job with the school district to keep money rolling in, it works perfect as the school year starts it begins to slow down for me and picks up again when the school year ends. During the winter I only schedule details on the weekends.
  12. the sternum and belly button are a couple of tough areas as well, it was also rough doing the sides of my neck
  13. the tires that are on in the pictures are my studded winters and will be staying on for the winter and then new larger tires. Jim, I'm going to leave it this way. I got really tired of scraping, harsh ride, and in general not being able to use a Subaru for what it was intended.
  14. Last year at the first Rally-X the snow was mid thigh, so yeah it can get plenty deep, not a problem now though. It turns fine, I still have the large front sway bar but removed the rear sway bar and sub-frame lock bolts to get the articulation
  15. I used the suspension from an 05 Forester, there is a company that makes a 1" lift block kit but I wanted a little more. I have camber bolts in both front and rear so alignment will all good, the trailing arm issue affects caster but I know what I need to do to fix it, it's just a matter of fabbing up new mounts where it attaches to the chassis.
  16. This is just step one, I still have to get an alignment, larger tires are coming soon, and I have a trailing arm issue to work out but so far so good. This lift puts me 2" higher than stock and 5" higher than I was. Before: After: Rally-X season starts in Oct so now I'm ready, and I'll be doing some offroading as well.
  17. nice car, but I giggled at the energizer battery.
  18. soooo you don't want to hear about how well it works and my 12 cans:lolsmack:
