  1. I have been without one for 8 months, the last one had an "accident" and no longer works. It was a cheaper model and was never really satisfied, I'm saving up for a Defelsko 6000.
  2. I had tears running down my face I laughed so hard.
  3. I have 3 layers of Americana over 3 layers of Swissvax Concorso on my car and it looks awesome.
  4. The top I'm not sure about but Adam could answer that, as far as the vinyl you are safe, it's a wash product not a harsh cleaner.
  5. Good Morning all, nasty rainy day here. It's a good day to be inside working. I'm excited to finish this job and show it to you all, it is the biggest and worst job I've had yet, 3 days of exterior on an 07 Titan
  6. Very carefully, haha! Everyone has to find their own technique, I do alot of taping and polishing by hand with corners of the MF towel to get in the small spaces. I spent 2 days on this car, 1day for interior, wash and engine detail,1 day for exterior. I went all out on this job as it was the job I traded for the Seibon carbon fiber hood( $250 detail for an $800 hood) I wanted him to feel he got a good trade. Sorry I haven't been on much to answer your questions, but I have been super slammed lately. Thanks for all the compliments everyone, they help me get motivated to go to the shop and get it done every day. You guys are my motivators and you rock at it
  7. I would suggest the Leather and interior cleaner, APC is too strong unless diluted way down.
  8. I always ask the customer if they want a glossy finish or a matte finish, I prefer a matte finish so I use the leather conditioner.
  9. No, but I am experimenting with a mixture of APC and GWC for engine cleaning. I'll be letting you all know the results when I find the perfect mix:2thumbs:
  10. AJ you are one lucky dude, I've always wanted to go to to HAN. Thanks for those great photos.
  11. As some of you know I'm sort of a mad scientist with mixing Adam's products. I tried something new and so far has worked out well, I mixed about half a capful of UCS in a 32oz bottle of Carpet and Upholstery cleaner and man the carpet glistens and adds just enough of that great Adam's scent. I have not tried this on upholstery yet but works great on carpet. Disclaimer: My experiments are to be tried at your own risk and I'm not responsible for damage to your vehicle.
  12. so far I've only used it to do door jambs, but I love it. The scent is AWESOME and the new blue WW is the perfect size for this.
  13. uuuuggggghhhhhhh, trying to get motivated to go down to the shop and finish this customers car, not very motivated today.
  14. Good Morning everyone! I'm having a great day, I traded a $250 detail for a $700 Seibon carbon fiber hood It's the CWII model, scroll down a little on the link to see. http://www.jscspeed.com/wrx/body/seibon_0607.htm
  15. I tried using the pump with the shampoo and found that the thicker creams and soap tend to drip out of the pump spout so I would recommend putting down some paper towels or just use the refill funnel. I decided to only use the pumps on the liquids and not on the thicker products because of the mess factor.
  16. I'm sitting here watching it rain and thinking about how far away all the cool events are. You guys have fun at HAN.
  17. I had 1 bottle do this on me but the other 2 are just fine, all have been in the same environment and are the same age. It is strange but it gave me an excuse to thin it out just a bit more and use it as a spry in certain situations.
  18. No Adam's does not have a combination to remove "orange peel", wet sanding the factory clear is best left to an experienced detailer as all auto makers are cheap and don't give you alot to work with. ihopemyrunonsentancemakessenceanddoesn'thurtyourhead:jester:
  19. great pics:thumbsup: god I wanna vette sooo bad, but I guess it's do something you love or make alot of money, not both.
