  1. This. I'm going to do glaze every other week. I have Americana on mine. Probably won't need to add another coat till July or so. Was always told to not re wax until the water doesn't bead off the car anymore. The old buttery wax did pretty good last summer for me.
  2. Gonna try that end of the week. Did a quick wash this morning and placed a order for some of those new blue mf towels for final wipe down.
  3. Microfibers. I did what you did 1st time and was getting a lot of dust regardless if I brushed the crap out of them after every pass.
  4. Would you recommend this for a dark grey car? May pickup one of those blue towels to do a final wipedown, lol. As far as rinse less vs waterless wash is concerned. Is it worth it to buy rinse less or is waterless good enough for drying?
  5. So i'm mainly active during the spring/summer months since when winter hits don't really get down to any serious detailing till winter is over. Just was wondering what happened to some of the products that were being mentioned like the water de-ionizer, new firehose nozzle, new wheel woolies, and any other product i might have forgotten?
  6. Quick question. Are you hitting it w/quick sealant? Wanted to ask since I can't get it up to Alaska because of has-mat shipping issues. Just been using super vrt after every wash on my matte wheels does wonders for brake dust issue, lol. I know people mentioned to just use car shampoo and water. Is it advised to just make a bottle of it mixed in for these cases? Was thinking of going this route instead of loading up on green wheel cleaner possible.
  7. What I do is start out w/a x on the first panel. Then detail spray next panel/half panel w/out any additional product. After that I add 3-4 dots for the next panel. Then repeat w/the spray, 3-4 dot routine. Never had any issues.
  8. Machine, gets it done quicker and more evenly for me.
  9. Quick question, can you glaze anytime or would you need to strip the sealant and wax off? Finally got around to glazing and americana last week and was thinking of just throwing on the glaze every other wash or so.
  10. Thanks guys. Figured polish and sealing is fine. Just went ahead and did it last night and wanted to make sure all is fine. Next wash i'm going to do my first pass w/the americana. Still using the old sealant that requires 12-24 hrs till i can glaze and wax, gotta upgrade to the new one sometime.
  11. So was wondering is it safe to use the machine polish on a clear bra? Have the entire front end done and was wondering which products would be safe to use like buttery or even machine sealant?
  12. Finally did the gtr today after bringing out of hibernation. Clayed, microfiber correction and polish, and sealed.
  13. So you can use waterless wash for both drying and claying? Gotta try that out, gotta 36oz just sitting on the shelf.
  14. Man gonna have to buy this. The one thing I didn't like with the older one is the cure time. Thank god you guys changed that. Had to wait a extra day to whip out the Gtr when I did a full detail lol.
  15. ^same question. Love the smell of waterless wash. Another quick question. My Gtr is slightly dirty. Is it safe to do this and then use a flex to remove the swirls?
  16. Haven't posted up in awhile but will be doing my strip wash next year after winter. Damn shop who installed my cf sides and rear diffuser swirled up my paint, gonna have to do some tlc to the gtr.
  17. Gotcha how about just another layer of buttery? Figured I'm better off stripping the old layer before putting the Americana.
  18. Just got my mini today and wants to know if its safe to put over a 2 month old application of polishes, sealant, and buttery?
  19. Just got one of these today and was wondering if its safe to use the new formula with them or not? Gonna hit a small section on my car with this and revive.
  20. I like the idea of using it on the wheels after a wash. Anyone tried these on matte black and are they ok to use at the end of the day on some wheels? Seems like a good routine for us guys that get a ton of brake dust.
  21. Sad thing is i've had it for close to a year and only used it twice. Probably apply another layer w/buttery on the gtr for kicks, then do a strip wash and americana before i store it for winter.
  22. Gotta ton of j's i've been collecting, few lebron's, answer 4's, etc. Picked up my Ray Allen 13's and my ice blue x's and called it a day. Last purchases before I picked up my gtr. Most of my play money goes towards the car now, lol. Too bad their not size 10's i'd probably copped them bred 4's since mine been cracking for a bit now, my old cdp's.
