  1. Guess I'll continue w/this process from now on. Most of my vehicle never become too soiled.
  2. yup same here. when i ordered the new detailer spray, it came more of a cream pink instead of the bright i'm used to. funny thing is the small travel size was bright, while the gallon size was cream colored.
  3. Mine are in a black tub for all towels and just keep the pads on the shelf.
  4. I love my 36oz bottles for apc, detailer spray, and wheel cleaner. Gonna keep mine and just refill them. Probably would be easier to handle detailer spray for a 16 oz though.
  5. So finally got my tune ironed out w/Boyan and headed to the only awd mustang dyno in the state of Alaska. It arrived in early March and couldn't wait to get the gtr on it. The gtr is a 09 w/a Switzer p700 package and added downpipes. The fuel used in these runs are crappy Shell 90 octane mixed w/3 gallons of Sunoco 104 to get to 93 octane. Also have a couple of rolling shots on the way there, enjoy. the dyno vid, 600hp on high boost, 560 on low boost, click link http://s353.photobuc...2f1324.mp4.html mountain shot dyno sheet
  6. So I'm looking at purchasing a AMS cf trunk for my gtr. Was wondering which type of cf, matte or gloss would be easier to maintain? Also is it ideal to get it clear bra'd to prevent rock chips? Living in Alaska, we have tons of gravel and rocks all over, wanted to prevent as much damage to it as possible.
  7. So i got 2 bottles for free of the tid because of the recent sale they had. Decided to give it a shot on my tundra and am amazed on how well it works, love it so far. I must say I believe it does a better job then the regular Leather and Interior cleaner. For some reason i get white smear marks on some of my silver panels in my gtr but w/the tid it goes on evenly and leaves no marks. I am contemplating on going strictly w/Tid then leather conditioner after. Thoughts? Opinions?
  8. This. Exactly what I did. Had to convince myself I had to try it, haha.
  9. Thanks guys. Will get around doing this eventually.
  10. Just did this myself because a bird bombed on my window. Was actually my first use of the waterless wash, smells great btw, haha.
  11. While browsing the forums, i've seen people mention strip washing before they start polishing. My question is do you just pour some apc into the bucket and start washing? What i've been doing is just claying the entire vehicle then start polishing as I thought that claying strips all protection (wax/polishes). Usually end up claying most of the vehicle before polishing since Alaska roads are rough on them especially over the winter months.
  12. Haha, yes hulk smash! But yeah I will try and call them tomorrow hopefully if I get some time in between work. It did seem weak because i slightly pulled on it and next thing you know it ripped. Not like i'm going to use all the spaces but I was surprised non the less. I'll report back once I give them a call.
  13. I usually just throw mine in the washing machine w/ALL free detergent for 30 minutes, dry for like 10-15 min on low, and just hang them to dry out some more. As others have mentioned, they'll stain but are still good to use. I want to try the revitalizer the next go around when i order though.
  14. Nice job! Really makes me want to actually get going on my own tundra but man, we go camp pretty much every weekend in July, and I know all my hard work on polishing will get jacked once, haha. Quick question, noticed you mentioned rags for the undercarriage spray. Did you spray then wipe w/the rag? Used it for the 1st time last week on my wifes vehicle, turned out nice but noticed it kinda drips so I had to leave paper towels overnight to ensure no staining.
  15. As Dylan posted, I usually split interior and exterior on different days now that I have 2 small kids, gotta get that family time in. I'm looking at trying to do my car wash at 6am while everyone is asleep that way I have the rest of the day instead of trying to fill it in after work. Actually have 2 16 oz bottle of the new tid i'm looking at forward on trying here soon.
  16. wow, that's terrible. time to just throw a wrap on it and call it a day, haha. none of you guys ever seen are you faster than a redneck? loved the episode when the owner of ssp took his gtr down and shocked them.
  17. So just got americana bag last week w/my new flex and the new 2 stage polish system. Everything fit snug w/the old 3 stage system inside. My only gripe so far is one of the elastic bands actually ripped when I was putting one of the polishes in it. Here's the pics w/the flex inside and some polishes, still gotta put some towels inside as well. Other than that everything was perfect. Ripped elastic piece
  18. Odd, mine doesn't smell as mentioned, but when/if it does, i'll be sure to hit it w/apc.
  19. Do gwc its cheaper and gets it done on my volk rims for my gtr. I've used dwc, did ok but i got some stains on one of my stock rims, still have to get around to using revive or buttery wax to see if it'll come off or not. Worked fine though on my tundra and wifes toureg.
  20. Finally bit the bullet and ordered this w/the flex combo. Can't wait to try this out.
  21. Nice review, was just looking at that bag. Do you guys know when you order a flex, does it come w/a bag or not? Will probably grab the bigger bag if there's not one provided and maybe grab the smaller one for on the go type deals (photo shoots/touch ups).
  22. A little off topic but I've seen talk about the cyclo coming out at the end of the month. Do you guys suggest that over the flex? Was looking at upgrading to a flex but now I may wait and see how the cyclo goes. From what i've read it has 2 pads and only 1 speed. Going to keep my pc as I plan on getting some 4" pads to go w/it for the smaller areas.
  23. Man just placed a order last night and was wondering when these were coming back. Might have to place another order.
  24. Have never done my tundra but may take a shot at it if time permits. Just so time consuming doing the entire truck in one sitting.
