  1. I've only used Dr Colorchip and it was on my GTO, and the color was EXACT! It wasn't the easiest to apply like the video showed, but overall a good product. If/when I order more touch up supplies, I'll be trying Langka next
  2. Thats a bummer, but shouldnt be a deal breaker. Thats why you're on the forum and Adam's is here to help. I agree with Buddy, I've seen Ferrari's that I couldn't believe left the factory in the state they were in.
  3. This is targeting the lazy and cheap from washing, I dont expect them to pay extra for this product
  4. Looks really good. Ive been entertaining the idea of a gxp as of late. I can't remember the time a GM car held its value so much, and it upsets me as a buyer! I have my heart set on a cts v, but i can save myself about $15k on a gxp. What's next on the To-Do list?
  5. Did a complete overhaul on the wife's traverse. Couldn't believe how thrashed it was. Also got the bike shined up. Almost don't want to take it back on the dirt
  6. Awesome. After I typed this I figured machine super sealant would probably work. Im assuming the same combo on headlights would also be ok?
  7. After using fine machine polish on tail lights, should I be using some type of plastic sealant? I ask because at the moment, I do not have any sealant for plastics.
  8. Finally it was 45* here in Michigan (felt like summer) and had a chance to clean the wife's car out. Riding clean!
  9. Thanks dieseldide, never considered that merc before. It looks really nice, I'll have to check it out. Also, with all the mention of the toureg I'll have to look into that as well. There's a merc and vw dealer about 20 minutes from me, maybe I'll venture out today
  10. Looks like you're sold on the customer service. Up next, the products...
  11. You guys are coming up with some great suggestions and questions that I dont know the answer to yet. Dave, you brought up some good points, and thank you for the quick reviews. Honestly, I think what I want is some form of sport luxury. Ideally, a new cts vsport has my attention, but is out of my range. I have always had 'sporty' cars so the firm suspension and engine/exhaust noise would not be a deal breaker. Rich, thanks for the suggestion regarding the dealer pep cars. I have put a few calls in to some dealerships to see what they have - unfortunatley nothing I am interested in, but the cars they did have had an attractive discount. I drive more than average for my job which averages 30-40k a year, so I think I need to be a little more mature about my choice and consider something awd and good in the snow. a CTS V would have hurt me pretty bad with the winter we had here in Michigan.
  12. Thanks for the feedback. Couple cars have been mentioned that I haven't considered. Didn't think it would be this hard... I just need to narrow down and go start driving them
  13. Looking for your idea's for your ulitmate luxury car that can be had under $50k. Looking to purchase new, but if the right pre-owned with less than 40k miles came my way I would be interested. I really have no 'needs', and Im all over the place. I just need 4 doors, with enough room for 2 kids seats. So far ive come up with the following. New CTS 300 Grand Cherokee IS350 Used CTS V What cars have you seen/worked on/driven that really made a lasting impression on you?
  14. Looks really good. Just not a fan of the wheel barrels painted. Other than that its a nice car and great job!
  15. Oh man, wait until I get home. Just a warning, it may make some of you cry
  16. False. The next person likes to ski/snowboard
  17. On top of being pretty dissapointed with the cars, I found myself looking at the detail job on the cars and could NOT believe the horrible swirl marks and the never ending holograms all over the cars. I was dumbfounded. On the other hand, the C7z was pretty freakin sweet. Just my rant!
  18. Great mods to start out with! My buddy had a wrx with quite a few mods - what a fun car that was. Enjoy it
  19. Using just hot water, or adding carpet and upholstery cleaner in the tank as well?
