  1. I was going to suggest brake cleaner, even though it is very strong. I'd recommend to seal the wheels next. My wife's yukon denali has cheap pads up front that squeak and develop a lot of dust. So bad that the chrome wheels brown up after a week of driving. It had caked on brake dust (similar but not as bad) and the wheel cleaner instantly turned purple and everything came off. After I cleaned and dried them I used the aerosol quick sealant (I still have some ) and now they clean effortlessly . good luck!
  2. I use dish washing soap (dawn) couple drops and run it in the sink. Just keep squeezing it until clear water runs out. As for the foam blocks, I cut them in half. They don't last very long.
  3. that looks amazing! here's mine and my little thing going on here in Denver, CO maybe our next meet can be at Adams HQ
  4. I love mine, but if you're planning on drying the entire vehicle it's going to take you a little while.
  5. I'd love to get another New Era flat bill cap. I got a compliment from Adam himself at the detail clinic lol
  6. Can we get a bigger handle or a grip on the wheel woolie? lol
  7. I'm going to have to order one of these! I still think the original stuff was the best. I still have an empty 32oz and the smell hasn't gone away.
  8. I'd pay the extra $50 for that 100psi because I will end up using it for other things. But I would say you will be alright. Even though the cannon has a minimum 1.3GPM I've seen great result with several 1.2GPM pressure washers. I've been doing some research on electric pressure washers. Right now I'm pretty set on the sunjoe spx3000 2030 psi and 1.76GPM for around $150.
  9. I was thinking that last time I used the tire shine. The nozzle the bottle comes with doesn't really atomize/mist the product. With a spray gun you can adjust the fan size. Might have to try it! lol
  10. How do you go about washing it out? I just used mine yesterday and it is pretty nice!
  11. that's a great idea. I was going to post something similar. I was going to ask if Adam would ever consider setting up some sort or program/classes that would teach you to detail. I know a lot of it comes with experience but the fundamentals. I'm currently a tech at a dealership and I have thought/considered changing career (flat rate world sucks sometimes) to becoming my own boss. I would love to have my own detail business and be Adams certified. Thanks to my obsession and his DVD's/youtube videos I have small knowledge of most of the products and where to use them. I really enjoy fixing cars but I love cleaning/detailing more lol
  12. thanks for the input! I will be getting the steamer for sure, I know I will be using that a lot in and out of my cars. I'll hold off on the portable carpet cleaner for now.
  13. hey everyone! I'm thinking of purchasing a McCulloch MC1385. would something like that clean seats and carpets pretty good, or would I need a dedicated carpet cleaner like a portable Bissell? I know the best tool for the job would be an extractor but those are expensive lol and I'm not going to be detailing on a daily basis. AND would I be able to add carpet and upholstery cleaner as the solution?
  14. I'm staring at mine as I type. I wish the weather was nicer! It is suppose to be 9* tomorrow here in Denver. Mid 40's next week so maybe then I'll give it a try. I just opened it! very soft yarn. fits like a glove. The inside is pretty soft and comfortable. The middle is sown inside towards the top, about 3" down, between your index and middle finger. I'm sure that makes it easier for you to move around when its all wet and heavy with soap.
  15. It was a blast! I wish I could hang out there all day.
  16. wow!! that is amazing! can't wait to do that to my wheels. My wheels are all scratched up and need a polishing too.
  17. I just wanted to say thanks again to Adam and the team for today. Especially Kourtney for the help and answering my questions. Ben was really cool too! hope to see that ZL1 later. Picked up some goodies while I was there. I have a lot more stuff on my wish list after today but I will probably hold off till spring time. Here's the snailblazer at HQ. Wish I had a better camera
  18. Good idea! the stock bottle sprays blobs if you don't really squeeze it hard. But usually after one side of my trailblazer is done I don't spray as much anymore. The double soft really soaks it up and gets the job done.
