  1. You're welcome! Also, I highly recommend watching Adam's videos on YouTube. Lots of great information there!
  2. Revive + Hex Sponge is your ticket, unless you want to get into polishing/correcting. It will likely take a couple of hours, but the results will astonish you, *especially* on gloss black. Careful...the Adam's bug is not so easily splattered.
  3. 1. Wash pads should be maintained like a pet with long hair. Regular washes and brushed out. 2. Washing MF towels is more about washing towels soiled to similar levels. The cleanest MFs washed together first, followed by dirtier, followed by dirtiest. I am talking real dirt, dust, scum, etc. If a towel is only soiled with product, it can be washed with other, clean MFs. Just make sure to use enough soap, and dry on low heat or no heat. I pull my MFs out of the dryer when they are *almost* dry. 5. VRT is a dressing. Best used on clean rubber, vinyl, plastic, or tires. I prefer applying it using a foam block. A little bit goes a long way. Don't saturate the surfaces with VRT. The key here is prep. Make sure these surfaces are CLEAN, and you only need a little bit to make those surfaces look great. If you apply too much VRT, buff dry with a clean MF or terry cloth towel. You mentioned you have H20 GG. You don't have to wait to apply it. H20 is meant to be a maintenance protectant and glossifier. When you strip wash, the H20 GG comes off with it. It won't hurt a thing to apply it after a regular wash, before you do a full correction.
  4. I suspect it was all from the same vat of product. I guess I don't understand all the crowing about it. If you're not happy, Adam's will take care of you. Call them. Explain your situation. Get refund. Simple.
  5. I plan to try it. I will be using distilled water for dilution, as minerals present in most drinking waters may further reduce cutting power of the TRC.
  6. I used to use Buttery + LPS. No more. My go-to from now on will be Americana + LPS. It's night and day, Emir. Seriously. Try it. You'll never go back!
  7. Wow. It's too dark to take any photos worth a dang, but....Wow. First of all, the application process was an absolute treat. Goes right on, set for 20 minutes, buffs right off. No streaking, no residue, no dust. That's amazing in itself. Secondly, the shine it imparts has left me speechless. Adam's you've outdone yourselves with the new Americana formula. Bravo!
  8. Just how much product are you using? To correct a sedan I'll maybe use 1oz of product. I used to use Detail Spray to prime and dampen the pad. But I've moved to distilled water in a spray bottle. It works MUCH better and I may even be using slightly less product.
  9. I don't think this would be a good candidate due to the wax additives. It could build up in the tiny hoses and clog them. Waterless Wash might be an option.
  10. You applied too much VRT. I use makeup foam triangles to apply VRT to trim and rubber seals. It's far more agile I never put too much on. Knocking it down with a towel after letting it sit for 30 minutes is a good idea.
  11. I assume you're referring to the Apple Detail Spray? Use it and report back. It smells great to me! It's not the sweet apple pie smell everyone seems to associate with apple scented products. It actually smells like I sliced an apple and ate it. Perfect!
  12. What I've found is a 50/50 mix of APC/Water in a Kwazar spray bottle works great for soaking and cleaning. Once finished with the pad, spray the 50/50 mix onto the pad liberally, then stick the pad in a freezer ziplock bag until you clean them later. Use warm water and work the cleaner in with my thumbs, then rinse and squeeze the water out with my thumbs again. Repeat until clean. Lay them flat on a dry terry cloth towel, and squeeze them flat against the towel to get most of the water out. Then place them in front of an indoor fan on the towel overnight. They are usually completely dry the next morning.
  13. I purchased the sample kit for my brother. He's pretty stoked to begin using it.
  14. Barry, The eBay store is another retail channel. My guess is that they update prices and update promotional pricing in each retail channel individually. There are a number of likely reasons for this, but I suspect it's because, as Dan mentioned above, it's labor-intensive to change pricing. I don't think you're missing anything. Buy from the channel you're most comfortable with!
  15. You 'watched' it do this? Tell you what, call Adam's and speak with one of their reps. I am fairly CERTAIN they will want the remainder of your bottle of G&G for testing. Call Adam's. They are your best resource at this point.
  16. Could be any number of things. G&G or Detail Spray would not have caused this. But I wonder what else was on the paint prior to the wash. This is clearly some form of chemical damage. That much is certain. But what chemical? My vote is some sort of hydraulic fluid (brake, transmission, etc).
  17. I would say the Rupes 15 LHR Mk II. Buy it. Seriously. The Cyclo is fantastic, but you'll spend more time correcting with the Cyclo than the Rupes. And the 15 is a perfect compromise between size and agility.

  19. I smelled mine again, I smell a tiny bit of cherry, but the overtone is new car-ish to me. I used to use a non-Adam's tire wet product...now THAT smelled like cherry. Should have named that Overkillacious Cherry. lol
  20. Black is a detailer's nightmare. It is known.
  21. I think SVRT already smells good. Like a slightly sweeter version of new car smell. Perhaps some of you need to have your olfactory senses calibrated?
  22. Quite often the paint and clear on plastic bits is quite a bit softer than what goes on the metal. I think you'll find that it corrects quite quickly.
