  1. That was 2 years ago... Before quick sealant.... And before other pro detainees started doing write-ups. With my entire roof panel being vinyl... I wanna know if anyone has had positive results and what combo. Was planning to BG and Quick Sealant them.... Wanted to be sure that's the best course of action. Car wash and WW do not handle bird bomb etchings. Figured BG may help vow of the solvents.
  2. There are independent Adams dealers that may have it in stock. Check with Len from InDepthAutoDetailing. Think he has some mini's left. Better get em quick.... That time of year ya know!
  3. My house came with a Rainsoft system. Saw a tag on it dated 2002 lol. It's plugged in but have no idea if it works. Would love to tap a hose Bibb onto that baby and use that for washes. Need my Rainsoft guy to come check it. Emailed him and he tried to sell me a whole system. I'm like.. 'Did you read my email?' Ugh.
  4. With most Adams stuff... The less you use, the better the result. It's ready to come off just minutes after application... So do a panel at a time.
  5. Leave it in the garage til you have time to finish - then post pics
  6. K.... Read this and about 25 other threads, watched videos... All OLD news! Just traded my '13 Ram for a '13 Chargee R/T Daytona in Daytona Blue. It is Amazing and if I could marry this car....well, anyway. The car had a build sheet in the glove box as well as the warranty info for the stripes... Saying 3M on the papers. So.. I have 3M vinyl stripes on the hood and the entire roof panel is vinyl as well (All Matte finish). It also has the plastic Matte finish spoiler on the trunk lid. The 5 products I've seen used on vinyl stripes in vids and varied threads are:(not all 5 used at same time) Diluted APC to clean BG used to clean Quick sealant to seal and dress SVRT used to dress and protect Americana used to dress and protect My stripes are in good condition as it's a fairly new vehicle (4000mi and 9mo. old, came from central east coast of FL). I want to clean them since I do see a few mild etchings from bird droppings (stupid car lot). Figured BG would do it - I then want to dress them, but want a balance of keeping the factory look while getting the most protection and mileage out of what I protect them with. What is the answer? I'm a long time user of Adams (6 years now) (under a new forum account) and I've already used the 2 step polish on the painted surfaces (masked off vinyl) and I'm letting my machine sealant coat cure overnight. I'm doing the stripes and waxing paint in the AM (then glass and wheels). I hope one of you guys can help me out before morning. Thanks.
  7. Thanks for all the help and personalized attention over the years, Dylan. (Kicktothejunk here if you haven't figured that out yet). You do amazing work no matter what hat you're wearing. (Detailer, salesman, product specialist, customer support, web promotion, fireman). I fear Adams won't be the same without you (for me anyway). Friend request on FB on the way.
  8. Looks like my dash... Sans the console mounted shifter and add a billet shift dial.... Love mine. Rides like a Cadillac, rips like a muscle car and hauls what I need it to.
  9. Liked page on FB.... Can't comment on anything....
  10. Can anyone chime in on holding the Cyclo to vertical panels compared to the PC and the Flex? The weight of the Flex wears me out after awhile. Cyclo looks bulkier and scares me. Haha.
  11. It's a sticker on the bottom of the rear diff... Drivers side. Had mine since March24th.... I'm at 4680mi. Talk about garage queen. Can we see the interior?
  12. Great write up LBS. I'm a painter by trade and have a couple PW in my stable. Have had a Honda powered 2600 DDrive for 10 years now... Bolts have rattled out of it a couple times but still pumps and starts on first pull. 89 octane no-ethanol seems to work well for me. My most recent purchase I've only used for 8 hours... A Pressure Pros 4000psi belt drive. Holy...... What a hoss!!! The smaller of the two works fine for a wash on the vehicles, I just use a wider tip and keep my distance. I use 5/8" hose, max pressure out of the spigot and 89octane ethanol free in all of my small engines. Can you tell me your professional opinion on that?
