CTFocusST reacted to Team Adam's in Added a Raptor to the fleet
Picked up this bright red monster yesterday. 2012 Super Crew with the 6.2L. Was a single owner truck and only had 21,xxx on the clock. Fully loaded with all the options I wanted -
Heated/Cooled Seat
Dual Zone Climate Controls
Front/Rear View Camera
Navigation with SYNC
Sunroof
Sliding rear window
Just driving it home yesterday and to the office this morning has already got me smiling from ear to ear - its just a monster plain and simple! Rides fantastic on the streets and I may or maynot have ripped it thru a few open fields so far to test the offroad capabilities
Interior was pretty much spotless - gave it a quick TID wipe down and leather conditioner treatment yesterday. Over the next few days I'll be doing a full paint correction and detail. Still debating if it gets the most current coating prototype - we'll see. I'll update the thread as the detail progresses.

I believe in the video Dylan said that it could be used over liquid paint sealant

Master Blaster Revolution
Holy windstorm Batman! This thing blows the Sidekick out of the water, or should I say it blows more water than the Sidekick.
While the Sidekick was a good tool for getting most of the water off and out of the cracks and trim, I would have to go back over everything a few times and would still end up with some drips.
With the MB Revo, it moves A LOT more air, so it dries faster and gets the cracks and trim blown out with one pass. The 30-foot long hose is plenty for leaving the unit in one place, which pretty much negates the need for the front swivel wheels. I found that the sneaky drips that would show up when opening and closing the doors (to dry the jambs) were greatly reduced.
I placed the MB on my cart and routed/sanded some of the sides down to make saddles for the MB to keep it from moving around.
I added a few hooks to the back of the cart for the cords and for the long hose.
Having the MB on top prevents storing the pressure washer wand there, so I added some hooks to the side.
Since the foam cannon is unsteady and kept falling off, I glued a 4-inch hose coupler to the cart to use as a holder.

CTFocusST reacted to kitt1987 in Finally started my Acura detailing!
This morning on a whim (had the day off) I decided to wash my TSX followed by a good round of claying. Pretty proud of myself as it was my first time with a clay bar (Adam's big blue bar) and I never came close to dropping it. Followed with a layer of Adam's Hand Revive Polish then with a round of Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant." Once removed I added a layer of Brilliant Glaze. Man does that stuff add that "pop" that everyone talks about. I have not waxed yet but that will come in the future, I did however seal my glass and spray Quick Sealant on the headlights and taillights. Finally I used the Super VRT on the trim and seals. I have not had a go at the tires and wheels yet, with a full schedule that might wait until my next wash later in the week. Hope the picture shows the shine well enough!

CTFocusST got a reaction from Ricky Bobby in Wheel Wash Pad???
I do the same as Jason and it works well. The wheel woolies are soft so they shouldn't be doing any damaged to the wheels

CTFocusST reacted to Furious Shine in Furious Shine Details
This is actually my Inferno Orange Metallic Camaro (Furious Shine Mascot lol)! Been waiting for months to use my new Patriot Wax on it. Car was polished & sealed, when I stored it. So I just hit it with a coat of Brilliant Glaze and the Patriot Wax. Patriot Wax is my new favorite - it just glows!

During yesterday's rain storm. Just so you guys know this truck hasn't had anything put on it for sealant or wax since sept.

CTFocusST reacted to Holder in Holder's Auto Detailing
Up next was this 56 Chevy. The car had been in storage for about 10 years. The paint wasn't terrible but was very dull. I did a few test spots and the orange foam pad and PCP did the trick once again. I tried the orange microfiber. Due to the single stage paint after about half the hood pad got so clogged up that I could not duplicate the results.
I finished this one with Liquid paint Sealant.

CTFocusST reacted to SS LeadFoot in You might be a detailer if...
you angle you side mirror down so you can see the reflection in the door.
After parking it and walking away, you constantly look back to admire the shine.

What makes a company a good company...
Great products?
Great customer support?
Great marketing?
Quality is no longer a comparable measure; it's an expectation, a requirement for a business to thrive.
This is where Adams excels. Your products are easy to use, they work as expected, and they perform by exceeding expectations.
im a friend, a father, a husband. My time is valued yet spread thin at times. Life is full of balance and measure. And the little time I choose to spend providing care to the cars I own is backed by Adams. Your products allow ease of use with incredible results. Sprays, waxes, sealants, glossifiers, etc. they all make the experience wonderful. I'm excited to continue using your products.
Kudos to you!
