  1. SVRT also works great. I actually use it on the plastic in my wheel wells, and I use the undercarriage spray on the other parts of my wheel wells, like the portion that looks like bedliner.
  2. Any reason that "out of stock" merchandise isn't just labeled as " temporarily out of stock"?? Instead its just completely removed from the website. So one might think its discontinued when it is simply out of stock.
  3. How does Machine Super Sealant compare to the new Liquid Paint Sealant??? I have heard that the MSS has a 24 hour cure time and the LPS has an hour cure time. Other than that,is there any other differences? Also, does the 24 hour cure time mean that I can't drive the car for 24 hours? Or just that I can't add another layer of protection or a glaze forat least 24 hours??
  4. They actually did away with ALL of the 36oz sizes, not just the SVRT. This was announced a while back. That size didnt sell nearly as well as the 16oz size and the gallons, so they decided to do away with it to save costs by reducing inventory.
  5. I still remember, my very first Adams order a few years ago was missing some product, and had also sent me some products that I did not order. It was fixed no problem, and I was even offered a free 16oz bottle of my choice (which I chose SVRT) and my correct order was shipped ASAP. Being that it was my first order, I was a bit turned off by the mixup I will admit, but they quickly won me over with their superb customer service and I have been a customer ever since. I recently had one other problem, which was some shipping damage. A spray nozzle and squirt caps were cracked and I was sent replacements as soon as I notified them of the damage.
  6. Sorry to thread jack, but since we are talking about the new Liquid Paint sealant....how does that compare to the Machine Super Sealant?? I have been thinking about getting a bottle of the Liquid Paint Sealant, but now the $10 price tag of the Machine Super Sealant has me considering that one.
  7. Does anyone know if a foaming sprayer is available??
  8. I treated my truck with a coat of Buttery wax last weekend. Then with the crazy weather we've had the past few days, it rained one evening and then it dropped into the 20's that night. So I walked out yesterday morning to find my hood and windshield covered in frozen water beads. They mostly came off with very little effort. The smaller ones basically wiped right off.
  9. Oh, and I'll have to be sure to tape the edges up REALLY good since they are bordered in concrete. I know that will tear up my pad for sure if my pad hooks onto the rough edge of that concrete while moving.
  10. I know not to use the rotary. That's why I said I'm too scared to use it. Lol! I am too scared to even use one on my truck, let alone on a custom aquarium.
  11. Only machines I have at my disposal are the garbage Walmart single speed random orbit polisher with the foam pad built on, so you can't swap pads. The guys in the service dept have a DeWalt rotary with wool pads that I can probably borrow, but I'm too scared to use it. Then I have my own machine, which is the Harbor Freight variable speed DA polisher with a 6 inch backing plate to use 6 or 7 inch pads. So far, I have only tried that Novus crap and no other products. I tried it both by hand and with the garbage Walmart polisher, which gave slightly better results than by hand but not by much. And I have 4 panels to polish, two are about 6 foot high by 12-14 feet long, and two are 6 feet high by about 5 feet wide. Its a pretty big aquarium, 13,000 gallons to be exact. I'm thinking about bring my HF polisher to work and maybe trying the Adams PFP first with a white pad on a small area first, if that doesn't do the job, then try the PCP with an orange pad, then go back with the PFP. If I have to pish this whole dam thing by hand, it will take me a week! Lol
  12. We have a pretty big aquarium at work and the glass (its really 3 inch thick polycarbonate) is getting a good bit of scuffs, scratches, and swirls in it. We were told to polish it with the Novus Three Step Polishing System. I have tried it by hand, and it doesn't work worth a crap. I'm wondering if I should try this stuff with a DA machine polisher or should I just try the 2 step Adams paint correction and finishing polishes. Any suggestions?
  13. I actually like the 36oz bottles too. I REALLY like the foaming sprayer on my 36oz APC bottle. Is there a foaming sprayer available for the 16oz bottles?
  14. I'm betting this would also work great with a decent sized aquarium air pump, instead of having to hook it to an air compressor and risk any oil contamination.
  15. Good suggestion. I'd like to get my hands on a hex grip yellow Buttery Wax hand applicator, but they have been out of stock for some time now.
  16. I remember when we got our first microwave in the early 80's. I remember having an extra long cord on the phone in the living room so you could sit anywhere in the room and still talk on the phone. I remember Grimace, Mayor McCheese, and the Hamburglar. I remember watching "Captain Kangaroo" on TV. I remember a guy washing your windows when you pulled up at the gas station (no, I'm not referring to the neighborhood junkie either ) and he would even pump your gas for you and check your oil and other fluids. I remember Atari 2600 and Intellivision. I remember having to get up off the couch to change the channel on the TV, and you did so by turning a knob on the TV 20 years ago if you had told me that everyone would carry a phone in their pockets, that we would have a black president, that "God" would be banned in our schools, and that gay marriage would be commonplace, I would have thought you were completely nuts!
  17. After losing over 100lbs , I feel a LOT better. The biggest thing I notice is that I can move around a lot easier. Especially going up a set of stairs. I used to be huffing and puffing by the time I got to the top of the stairs, but not anymore. I used to snore extremely bad, to the point where I probably had sleep apnea (but I was never diagnosed with it). My wife says that my snoring has decreased a good bit. I still snore, but not nearly as heavily now. My surgeon put it in simple terms for me at my 6 month follow up. Think about how heavy a 60 pound bag of dof food is, and how hard it is to lug around. Try carrying that around with you ALL day EVERY day. I was carrying two of those basically. It really opened my eyes to how much weight I have actually lost so far.
  18. I just wanted to comment about Adam's customer service. I got my shipment last week and due to rough handling by FedEx, I had a sprayer head damaged and the top caps on a bottle of Car Shampoo and a bottle of Buttery Wax were both damaged. By the time I got off work and called the customer service number, nobody was there so I left a message explaining what happened, along with my contact info. About an hour or so later I saw I had a new voicemail. It was Ashley at Adam's Polishes, she left me a message saying that they would send me out a new sprayer and bottle caps asap. I have to give two thumbs up for Adam's customer service! So many other companies would tell you to take it up with the shipper since they are the ones who damaged it. But Adams goes above and beyond to please their customers. That's one of the reasons I can justify paying for Adams products even though they are more expensive than the next guy. They perform like no other, plus the best customer service to stand behind their products, its a WIN-WIN!!!
  19. I just wanna bump this thread with a few suggestions of my own. APC works awesome for cleaning the kitchen stove and oven. My wife also uses it to clean the bathroom. She said it gets the soap scum off the sinks and shower walls. I use it full strength as an engine degreaser. It actually cuts oil and grease better than carb/choke cleaner.
