I just received my order which included 3 cans of in and out spray, I grabbed a can to do some underhood touch up tonight and before I even sprayed the can I knew something was different than the previous cans I purchased about a year or so ago. The new cans felt like they were half full of a liquid. Upon using it, it sprayed out a super shiney, greasy liquid that sprayed uneven and required me to wipe off the excess to make it look halfway decent, I'm kind of disappointed as in and out spray used to be one of my favorite products. All three cans were the same way, so I wasn't just a bad can. Was there a formula change in the past year?, anyone else having issues? Not trying to complain, as I love Adams products, just a little disappointed about this.

Total Interior Detailer scent would be awesome, it would be the only scent I would want in my cars

Here is a door panel off of a 57 Cadillac, and a E350 van steering wheel, and an older Tahoe seat only ones I could find quick, these were all repairs, there was no replacing of any material

I'm in the the leather repair and refinishing business, from looking at the pictures your seat can be redyed. What I have noticed in my 12 years of being in the business, is that red leather seems to be more delicate than any of the the other colors, it doesn't matter what brand of car. My guess is that it has something to do the red pigment used to dye the leather. I can clean red leather seats with a mild soap cleaner that we use (not an Adams product) and 99% of the time I will get some red on the rag used to clean the seat, just be very gentle in your cleaning and I wouldn't suggest using a brush unless it's needed, the color on your seat was probably starting to get thin from previous cleanings and finally wore through in those areas. Thanks everyone! It was an original SS 396/350Hp 4-speed car, The original motor and trans were long gone when I got the car 18 years ago, body and paint were already done and it had mild a 454 in it.......I blew that motor up shortly after we got it. I built a 468 with a monster cam, drag raced it pretty hard for a few years in the late 90's.......I also blew that motor up. For the last 14 years it has had the current motor it's a 396 with LS7 heads 11.1 compression, and a big cam, pretty mild mild motor, Reverse manual valve body Turbo 400 with a 4500 stall and a trans brake, Dana 60 rear with a 4.56 gears. It's not as fast as it once was, but it's still a fun little street car, that on the right day will still run a high 11 second pass, sorry the under hood pic looks so rough, haven't had the time to give it the Adams treatment

The paint is still in great condition for being 20+ years old, so all I had to do was lay on coat of Brilliant Glaze and a couple coats of Buttery Wax, the paint has never looked this good in all the years I've owned it!

I've used WD-40 a few times in the past with good results

I use a mytee, I don't remember the model off hand, but I know it's a middle of the road unit with a heater. I use it pretty much non stop for 3-4 hours a day, It works fantastic! Would recommend it to anyone!

I believe that it said, that it was hot poured fresh when an ordered was placed, the number is probably just the number of the billet case

Excellent! thanks for the info, I'll just have to do a strip wash on it first and I should be good to go, hopefully it will help with clean up after I am done using using it

I just ordered a bottle of liquid paint sealant last night for the cars, has anyone used it on gel coat? I'm thinking about throwing a coat on my boat when I get it out of storage, I'm hoping it will help keep all the muck in the lake from sticking to the hull so it will be easier to clean when I'm done using it.

Thanks for the tips I'll have to try them. I'm a believer in weathertech mats too, I have them in both of my personal vehicles. The salt issues are in my work van, don't want to spend the money on weathertechs for that because it's not mine, but the salt in the carpet is driving me crazy

Anyone have a better/easier process for removing the dried, crusted road salt that builds up in vehicle carpets during the winter months? I have been using the white vinegar, hot water, scrub brush method, but it still takes forever to remove and the car smells horrible afterwards. Any thoughts, Thanks!

I do this type of work for a company called Creative Colors International, in a nut shell, we fill the scratches with a leather filler that is sanded smooth and redyed to match, I do work for a few detail shops in my area, they offer the service and I come in and do the work, they take the credit for it. Probably what most detail shops do, as it would be a big expense for them to purchase the equipment to do it themselves

Hopefully when all the piles of this white stuff melts I can get some better photos outside!

I've been detailing cars since I was 12 years old, I did it professionally for 10 years, until I moved on to a new career, now I just enjoy keeping my own toys clean.
