Haha I was waiting for someone to spot that! Well its a 78 King Cobra my father bought it brand new for $6,800 had it special ordered for him at the local Ford Dealership, it has 49 thousand some miles on it Original Paint, mostly stock with a few simple things done to it. The neat story behind these 2 cars is that his is a 78 mine is an 08 which is 30 years difference and we both bought our cobra's when we were 27 years old. We have thought about lately of trying to get in a magazine with this story of some sort since this year is mustang 50th anniversary.  Thanks for your interest! If you have any more questions I will be happy to answer them

Hello, I have a 2008 Shelby GT500 Red/White Stripes.  So I haven't made my purchase yet with Adams but after being introduced to Adam's Products and watching all the videos I have decided to make a pretty decent purchase to go with their products, I am an absolute clean freak when it comes to this car It has not seen rain since I have owned it (bought it used) and is a garage queen and nice day driver.  I just wanna make sure I am getting all the products I am gonna need for the outside before I make my order so I have my ducks in a row. What I plan on purchasing is there nice "Essentials kit", lug brush, Fender Brush, In and out spray, Glass Cleaner, Glass Towels, Undercarriage Spray, Tire Applicator, Waterless Car Wash, Waterless Towels, an extra pack of 2 of some different towels, Green Wheel Cleaner. and i believe some quick sealant(sorry for such a long list)

Here is my order you guys can correct me if wrong please
I will be doing it all by hand also.

    1. Full wash down(with 2 oz. of AP cleaner in with wash)(Wheels, Tires, Engine, outside)
    2. Isopropyl 50/50 wipe down
    3. Clay Bar(I did the baggie test and it needs it)
    4. VRT all plastic pieces and Engine along with In and Out Spray
    5. Revive Hand Polish
    6. Here is my question (Quick Sealant or liquid paint Sealant)?
    7. Brilliant Glaze
    8. Buttery Wax

I believe I didn't forget anything if anybody has any input or advice it would be greatly appreciated and I am looking forward to making my purchase and for spring/summer my car has been sitting since October.

    Thanks, Matt

PolandDogs reacted to Team Adam's in Clay bar question?
Over lubrication is also a pretty common mistake... you want just enough DS on the surface to allow the clay to slide, but not so much that it can't make contact with the paint.

Start with 1 trigger pull with a sweeping motion from about 8-12" from the surface, start claying. If it starts to drag, add another shot. This will allow you to get the feel for 'how much' lubrication you need to get the job done.
