  1. The car needs a decent amount of attention, it's a swirlfest. Thanks to the previous owner's brush... I'll have to get to it in a few weeks when I get a second for a full Adam's treatment
  2. Traded in the SRT for this thing. Makes the SRT feel like a V6, engineers made a hell of a job in this cat.
  3. My new ones are that colour too, I'd like to see as well.
  4. That's because it was the old logo ????
  5. 5 is fine out back if you have a backup camera. I just went from a 5 back to a 15 back (different car) and I couldn't tell until I saw the invoice in the glove box. Barely any difference quite frankly
  6. Not sure if that's what you mean but when I dry with the great white towel I get streaking too but disappears on its own within 15 sec or so... Then after the whol car is done with one towel, I use another one just to finish it off clean
  7. And I won by not ordering any. That overload of detail spray is just wrong, long live the usa ones!
  8. Let's not freak out too fast here, water spots will occur to all of us on a regular basis unless your car doesn't see rain. The likelihood that hard water spots form if you are using the paint sealant is next to none assuming that we talking regular condition here. I found that the main cause of hard water spots is acid rain and hard water at your house. Your regular rain won't qualify in my mind and you are overthinking this. Wash the car as normal and let us know, at its worst you may need to clay bar it but i've never ran into that myself just because of rain and hot weather....
  9. I did and all that the owner could tell me was that the front clip was repainted along with the passenger door. The issues were found in other locations so the history of the car is shady at best.
  10. When you don't care about the 1st prize of the 100,000 followers giveway being the radar detector worth $650. All you want is the 2nd place prize: $500 Adam's gift card.
  11. TID is not suppose to really smell anything special, it has odour neutralizers in it to mask unwanted odour.
  12. Too bad I already bought one but it's just plastic so if it breaks I'll keep you in mind for the brass one. I'm sure it would benifit another member soon though. I can't tell if it's for the X type or K type as it doesn't show the other end of the adaptor
  13. All their accessories have this weird end to them so you either buy the adaptor I was talking about or you change the handle
  14. Don't worry we pay for it with 45% income tax and 15% tax on everything we buy
  15. Any pictures? What kind of temperature were you working in?
  16. Heads up if you are using a Karcher pressure washer or thinking about getting one: If you want to connect the foam cannon to the original gun/wand/handle, you need 2 adaptors. Once of which is a very hard to find as it is specific to Karcher. I found one on ebay for $5 from China but it's gonna take a million years to get here... Or You buy a third party gun/handle with a 1/4 adapter but you loose the ability to rinse so you'd have to disconnect the pressure hose and use the original handle after Gotta like their lack of 1/4in support out of the box.... Edit: And stupid me that ordered 2 china adaptors because they are plastic so figured i'd get 2... I got the ones that are for the K series and I have the X series. Dumb me thought that K2 was for K series... so much for that
  17. Yeah specially when you notice the clay bar marks and you think "Meh that should just buff out". Then you try to buff it out and your pad "stamps" on the paint then you are thinking "that escalated quickly"
  18. I showed your post to the owner, he tried the fingernail thing and it does leave a mark. I think I'll use that trick on all cars lol
  19. I know it's nothing that I did. The vehicle was bought used and a front clip repaint was disclosed but who knows what else was done to it. Here is a pic showing my clay bar back and forth movement for your entertainment. I told the guy to come get the car once I noticed that as there is nothing I can do about them and he was fine with it. He was gonna do a repaint or wrap it anyways It only did that in 2 areas so not the whole vehicle.
  20. Also noticed that in some area even the clay bar left some nasty lines. I gave up on trying to fix it once I saw the"clay bar marks". What do you guys think? Bad repaint? No clear at all?
  21. Actually even foam pad does it just not as bad. My plan is to fix it then tell the guy to come pick it up. Is it the paint? All I ever do is Chrysler paint and that's a first for me... Waiting for input while I try to fix it
