  1. I'm sure it would work but it'd be a mess. Just do it at a gas pump under cover or something
  2. I went from foam gun to foam cannon and prefer the cannon. I use the pressure washer for the initial rinse but I use the garden hose for the final rinse as I prefer to have volume over pressure at this point.
  3. Check the videos on both products, it will help you see how they are used. Rinseless is in my top 3 products if not #1. You can dilute it to make rinseless or clay lubricant. But the best part is washing your light to medium dirty car without dragging a hose in about 20min drying included. It also adds quite a bit of gloss depending on your car colour. As an example, brilliant glaze doesn't do squat to my car but rinseless makes it pop.
  4. One thing is sure: They are actively working on some type of consumer range coating or at the very least an improvement on their paint sealant if they can't get the coating right. Either way, I'm in for a better/long lasting alternative without going into a professional range application. I say that the 2 day cure required on the trim coating is probably as high as they can go as far as "professional" application required. Because of their 110% satisfaction guarantee, they can't bet on how the customer will apply the product. Let's not forget that Adam's is targeting the novice-intermediate detailer out there with super easy to use products.
  5. No need to glaze before the wax, not sure why you would even do that. If you are going to correct the paint within the next few weeks, wait until you are done before applying the wax
  6. When the polish is a bit hard to remove, a mist of detail spray and it's gonna come right off
  7. Those are great, this is exactly the "type" that I was looking for. Keep them coming, perhaps even add a section on the website! Thanks Matt and Ben
  8. I downgraded my Porter Cable to a 4" pads machine and I like it better than my Flex, it seems to correct faster. I'd say either PC for tight areas if you are on a smaller budget or the Rupes Mini if you can go all in. If you are not looking for a smaller area machine, Rupes 15 is a no brainer in my opinion.
  9. I have the old one from Adam's and I use it every time I'm correcting/claying or sealing. I can put a bottle or 2 in the pockets along with some small accessories and even a swirl flashlight at my chest level.
  10. Just an idea: I'd like to have some Adam's wallpapers to put on my computers. Perhaps the media guy (Maybe Joe?) or even anyone with some photoshop type abilities could do a few in their spare time? I'd like to see some products advertised on those wallpapers such as the entire Adam's collection would be nice. If anyone has any high quality, wallpaper size pictures that they took of the ride with a product, post them up! I'd say only post pictures that has at least a product bottle/towel/accessories in it or more! Not simply a picture of your vehicle, we already have a thread on those.
  11. I don't think I've seen anyone talk about his but I have a feeling that wash and wax paired with the sidekick blaster or master blaster could be a winning team. Did anyone say anything about wash and wax and using H20 afterwards. A bit overkill or not really?
  12. What is your take on VRT on such a large area. Obviously you wouldn't do that on your whole truck but let's say someone only has the entire hood wrapped. I tried on my buddy and even though it worked fine, it was next to impossible to get an even finish given the size of the area to cover.
  13. Congrats, I'm on my 4th charger since 2011, I get it... Great car
  14. That's odd, I've had mine for 3 years or so. Still going strong.
  15. As you see on the picture I don't have a lot of space to work with and don't feel like taking the facia off just the clean it. Should I use a garden hose? A pressure washer? Any other products like APC? Please note that I have pretty much the entire Adam's library except Wash and Wax and Strip Wash. I saw a video somewhere which suggested using a bug/tar remover, spray liberally on the intercooler and rinse off with garden hose. Obviously the engine has to be cold... Suggestions?
  16. I'm sure testing was done when paired with other products but let's not forget that the wash and wax is an all in one / RTU product. With any all in one product, there will be some trade off on the wash side and on the wax side. Is this product better than using car shampoo followed by H2O? I doubt that but haven't been able to try it out yet. It reminds me of the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioners or any other 2 in 1 products. I certainly like them and use them but are they as good as a separate shampoo and a separate conditioner...?
  17. I'm actually very surprised that no one posted a review on this yet, this product has the potential to be their best selling one in my opinion but it's been dead since the launch...
  18. Waterless or Rinseless depending on the level of dirty-ness
  19. A good guideline is 1 full spray per panel. So 1 full spray diagonally on 1 door, wipe with wet towel then 1 full spray diagonally on other door, wipe... You shouldn't see the liquid level drop after you do a car.
  20. Hard to say without actually trying it but I heard a few members on here with your specific pressure washer, I'm sure they will chime in. It may take a few attempts to get the settings right for your pressure washer, I'm still tuning it after a few washes.
