I was recently the winner of a Patriot Wax from the daily giveaways that Adam's had going on a few weeks back. As someone that has used Patriot in the past from the first launch, I was excited to get my hands on this new "Tin" that the Patriot has been made available in.

After now having this tin first hand, I see no issues with the size of it, nor the ability to use an applicator with the wax. For anyone that has used this wax, you know that a little goes a long way and it spreads VERY easily.

Just wanted to say thanks again to Adam's and the kick *** products you have. Thanks for making this amazing wax available at a price point many others can enjoy!

If you haven't purchased this wax, do yourself a favor and buy it!

I go away from browsing this thread for a day or two and there's all this talk of stripper scent, haha.  I was chatting with my friend Bobby (2013expressram) that I was jokingly going to suggest it, because one of my coworkers used to always show up to work wreaking of their stenchsmell...but I know Adam's isn't that type of company, and I commend them for it and for having values.  I've never even personally been to one of those establishments...just not my thing...but I had no idea a company actually made that scent. Haha.

    My votes:
    - Patriot Wax Vanilla
    - Pina Colada
    - Swedish Fish
    - Leather
    - Liquid Paint Sealant Black Licorice

Not everyone is going to want them, but a lot of people do... In the same way not everyone likes the look of tire shine, but lots of people do.

Good news is you're not required to buy them! Hooray for freedom of choice! Isn't it wonderful!!

As far as losing focus - I don't see where that's coming from? We get a ton of requests for them and as I mentioned in the first post, this isn't a mirror hanging little tree - this would be a spay in odor eliminator. There are a number of professional products that compete in this category. Like I couldn't possibly develop more than one product at once? C'mon guys! If you even had an inclination of how many products are in the works at this very moment you'd realize what a silly statement that is.

So that being said - lets get this back on topic:

IF YOU WANT AIR FRESHENERS WHAT SCENT? If not... No need to reply. We'll take your lack of participation as a vote for nothing.

I find myself having fantastic results with just PCP and the Orange foam pad. Unless the paint is super soft like in a Lexus. Even black paint looks outstanding. Her's a few examples.

MMHayden13 reacted to Kingsford in Patriot Wax on Black 2011 Chevy Colorado
I never got around to posting these... Figured since there is so much downtime on the forum during the winter might as well post them now.

These pictures were from my full detail of my Black 2011 Chevy Colorado topped with Patriot Wax!

Some people know that I'm a big Paste Wax guy. I have a large variety and collect the containers. I've never ordered the same Paste Wax twice (that will change). Some have been really great, some I've questioned as to why they would even get a 3 out of 5 star reviews.

Up until this year I've only used my Patriot Wax twice a year because of the cost and the first run was so limited. Thankfully that changed and will be able to use it much much more now that it's available for general purchase.

Patriot Wax is by far my favorite paste wax I've ever used, sitting here counting the containers on the shelf about 13 different ones thus far. I just love how easy on and easy off Patriot is and the darker look it gives to the black paint and other darker colors.

While I'll continue to let me collection grow as other containers become empty, I'm thinking Patriot Wax will always have a container being used around my garage!

Fun fact - These pictures were taken at the David Bradley Tractor Plant, where I live. Goes good with the Made In America theme at Adam's.

MMHayden13 reacted to Team Adam's in Ice crystals: the water beads more interesting cousin
More testing - this morning came out to a pretty nice buildup of ice beads on the Honda. It rained pretty good just after sunset last night and then the temps dropped. Shot this to show the difference between how ice sticks to the paint on the coated surface vs. the non-coated surfaces. Before anyone says anything about swirls or scratches - this thing is being abused on purpose, not trying to baby it. Its being subjected to regular tunnel washes and 'not-so-nice' wipe downs to see the level of marring in the coating surface as compared to raw paint. I would never rub ice/dirt into a paintjob I was trying to take care of - this is the kind of abuse I subject my personal cars to in the name of testing so you don't have to.

As you can see though, the ice beads just wipe off the surface where its been coated. Cool stuff! (pun intended)

This pic is just after using the Correcting Polish! I went in to eat then came back out and finished with the Finishing Polish, and to top it off a coat of Buttery Wax!

I really wanna try Americana wax as I have heard awesome things about it. But MAYBE someday I can see some Patriot Wax make another run and get some. So ill stick with Buttery for now.

Once again, Team Adams has exceeded my expectations. I called customer service for some help on a purchase and Ben was extremely helpful and efficient at getting things handled. It is getting to be almost ridiculous how good these folks are time and time again. I wonder what Adam does to have a team that knocks it out of the park 1000 percent every time! I can definitely see a common mindset in all phases of this company. And now you guys got ol Dylan back too. Outstanding product support and customer service! Thanks Ben and team, Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all of you!

My daily driver, which is parked outside 24/7/365 has been serving as a test bed for a number of coatings, both prototypes and competitors for awhile now. With temps down in the low 20's this morning I had to snap some cool pics of the overnight frost and how its behaving. You can definitely see clear indications of the various products and how they allow ice crystals to form.

Besides what is in the kit, the most important thing is good wash supplies, which it sounds like you have by reading your other post.

Its always a good idea to have additional pads, especially the polishing stages (orange and white) as those will see the most work. The waxing/glazing pads operate at low speed, aren't worked for as long, and won't be doing multiple high stress passes so you can get away with just one set of those.

Theres nothing more frustrating than being mid correction and having a pad get too gummed up to continue, or damaged by a sharp corner and having to order more that won't arrive for a few days via mail. Pads are relatively inexpensive, store indefinitely, and will save your detail if you have them as backups.

We can certainly look into that. We did something similar when we went from the flip tops to the self cleaners, I don't see any reason we couldn't do that here as well.

    Red as pictured.

We've been testing these for some time now, we placed on on each product, pumped thru, and then let them sit until the product dried. You may see a small 'booger' of dried material at the start of a fresh pump, but its minimal, a very tiny little glob. On products like LCC it wasn't present at all, on the polishes it was no more than you would see from the older flip tops when you opened them up.

    Included. No price increase.

Yes. If you press down and turn they lock. They will arrive to you in the locked position to prevent leaks/spills in transit.
