if you had a new set you could keep a coat of LPS on them and clean them regularly. also if you live anywhere there is much winter run a winter set of wheels (the old set possibly) with snow tires. up here in NW Montana it is pretty common for people to have a summer/custom set of wheels and tires and a winter set w/ studded snow tires.

Not that I have done it, but I have seen the glaze go on and come off really easy. Shouldnt take long as you arrive to a show to do. Maybe 15-20min for the whole car. Saw a buddy do a fender on another buddies truck with it at a show just to annoy him lol it popped nicely after the glaze, thou it was a metalic black.

I also Fully agree with Dan, when I was going to shows more often with a show truck people spraying stuff without care for the vehicles around them ALWAYS annoyed me. You can tell the regulars because the watch wind and try to stay close to the vehicle but even then there is overspray that happens. A liquid to just gently apply and buff off is so much more show field friendly.

Hi Zach, thanks for the suggestion! Right now, we don't offer a dedicated spray-wax, but I can recommend our Brilliant Glaze or Detail Spray to give you quick, awesome results at a show! Brilliant Glaze is my not-so-secret weapon for winning many awards at the All GM Nationals in Carlisle and several other cars shows I've attended over the last 5 years or so.

As soon as I get to a show, I will wipe down my car with either our Waterless Wash or Detail Spray and then put on a coat of BG, because it goes on and off incredibly easy and gives stellar results. It's not a spray wax per se, but rather a liquid glaze. I prefer this at car shows because surrounding owners can get quite grumpy if you start spraying products around their vehicle. Since BG goes on by hand with an applicator, you don't have to worry about any kind of overspray mist landing on the vehicle next to you.

Our Detail Spray is also an excellent shine enhancer and our #1 selling product. It has a small amount of carnauba content in it, and it is perfect as a maintenance product in between regular detailing and wax routines.

Wow thats a heck of a donation!

Thank you Adam for not only giving us the opportunity to purchase great products, the fantastic support from your company staff for those, AND the forum support for all your products BUT for giving BACK to the people who really NEED the help as well.

The best part to this whole thing in my mind, is that UNLIKE other companies Adam is donating sales, NOT some number after they take their cut out of it. Way to stand up and show how awesome this company is.

And don't worry, the only kind of judging done around here is at car shows, where the judges are blown away by the shine

Welcome! The products really do live up to the hype and the customer service is second to none! Those two things make the prices seem inexpensive to me. Post some pictures of your rides when you have a chance

I used the microfiber applicator. I think you're right on what I'm seeing. The marks left are similar to the pattern of the microfiber applicator. I'll try a hex grip applicator next time. I thought I did a good job of applying this stuff, but guess there is a slight learning curve here.

Welcome to the forums Dan, glad to have you here. Thank you for taking care of people as well.

As to the requireents, just start with getting things in the 16oz other than say All purpose cleaner.

As to the uses in a clay bar...its a variable, should be a few full full clays but it all depends on the levels of contamination you are removing.

My personal list for requirements is as follows:
    Glass cleaner
    Detail Spray
    All purpose cleaner
    Rinseless Wash.
    H2O GG
    Glass Towels
    Single softs or borderless Greys

That would be my bare minimum. There has been alleged rumors of a revamp of the 2 step process for a bit so you might be able to squeek around those and into the new depending on how long you want to wait.

As to other items that are great and make detailing better.
Double soft towels (Just so nice and plush!)
Deep wheel cleaner (A fav of mine!)
    Wheel Woolie
Speed Stick for cleaning the wheel barrels
Dilution Bottles At least 2 possibly more.
    Clay bar
Leather cleaner (If you have leather seats)
    Liquid paint sealer
    Grit Guards
Towels Towels Towels You will never have enough.

Some additional items that as you can afford or catch sales to think about adding
    Lug brush
    Towels
extra pads for a polisher if/when you get one
Interior detailer (Yes this is way down here for me, I love the scent of detail spray so much I do my interior regularly in it)
Metal polishes if you have any chrome (Doesnt look it so you can prob skip)
Other wax product such as buttery, Patriot, or Americana
    Briliant Glaze
Waterless wash (If you like rinseless wash then I might even skip this pesonally I just make down my rinseless into a 16:1)
    Towels
    Storage for things
    Towels
There will always be more things.

    Looks great.

I justify the less-forgiving black DD by telling myself that I'd be obsessing over the paint no matter what color, so I might as well get the most shine and reflection for my efforts.

I find if I use the rougher side first to clean, then flip it and use the "softer" side to polish or buff works best for me.

I have not had an interior issue using the normal Adams Glass cleaner either. There is some Hazing from the plastic but if one keeps up with it, it is not an issue.
