Marcos reacted to avimore in Wash pad care
Thought this was a great idea so I tried it out on my Wash Pads. Even though they've only gone through a few washes after about a month, they were starting to feel rough so I thought I would get a head start on maintenance:
Thanks again for the tip.

Marcos reacted to chops1sc in Wash pad care
I just wanted to share my wash pad care process. I've had this pad for over a year and I noticed it started looking rough. I always wash my pads with my regular laundry after each use and about every 2 months or so I brush them out with a dog hair brush. This particular pad hasn't been brushed out in about 6 months, lol!

Marcos reacted to Rb1274 in Dusty car from driving, how to wipe her down?
I really think I am going over board but I love to wipe my cars everyday. I'm using a diluted Rinseless wash spray and a double soft micro. Anyone else wipe everyday?

Super VRT
1:1 - spray on low gloss tire dressing That does not work on my tires unless I wipe them after with a rag or foam block. I use this all the time but if I just spray and leave it, it dries with a VERY shiny finish.

Marcos reacted to neohio in Fire Hose Nozzle 'Self Adjust' Fix
Not owning this nozzle, or knowing in great detail the defect. It sounds like you need to increase the drag on the O-ring. If it can be measured, you can probably squeeze a slightly thicker metric or imperial o-ring in the slot to help with the drag and keep the nozzle in place.

Marcos reacted to Performance Auto Detailing in Streaks on Interior of using Interior Detailer
VRT is great on the interior at 1:1. I even recall Dylan recommending it for Door panels in the past. Nothing keeping it from working great on the interior.

Marcos reacted to ramflava in Alcohol Wipe Down
Oh well. I learned something new, but after I had already done the work. Today, I did a rinseless wash, clay, IPA wipe down, APC (1:1 diluted) wipe down, 2 step correction, sealant, glaze, and americana wax. I'm no pro, but the vehicle looks phenomenal!!
