Kourtney@Adams reacted to Team Adam's in ASK THE SHINE DOC - Ep. 11: Engine Bay Detailing / What to Cover
Week 11 (better late than never) is a little longer of a video, but it covers a topic with a lot of variables. "WHAT DO I COVER, IF ANYTHING, UNDER THE HOOD WHEN I CLEAN IT?" We use 3 different vehicles to illustrate the various scenarios you might run into when cleaning your own car and touch on what needs to be covered and what to look out for.
IN THIS VIDEO: All Purpose Cleaner | Dilution Bottle
Wheel Brush | Trim & Lug Brush | Wheel Woolie
Super VRT | In & Out Spray | Block Sponge
Master Blaster | Detail Spray

Kourtney@Adams reacted to Ricky Bobby in Picked up a Gal. of Guard & Gloss
1) It should protect on trim as long as on paint - you'll be able to tell if your trim beads - Nothing wrong with applying monthly, some people like to apply it every maintenance wash or 2 weeks or so - great product, won't build up like wax
2) If kept in temperature controlled environment it should last years, you should shake up the gallon at least once every couple weeks though to be sure permanent separation of the components doesnt happen

Kourtney@Adams reacted to Renegade in Welcome and Thank You!
I've been using Adams over the past couple of years mixed with other product from other manufucatures.Adams products that I used worked so well I made a decision this weekend to dispose of non Adams products and put an order together and replaced them with Adams products. I have alto to learn about detailing but with the videos and this forum I hope to get better at it. I have a Grand Sport that I show and I went to keep it looking great.

Kourtney@Adams reacted to Joe@Adams in A Sad Day at Adam's Polishes
It's a sad day at Adam's Polishes. Adam's refrigerator that he bought for his first warehouse has died. It was a good fridge and it kept the beer cold for a long time. We are saving the freezer door on it thought because it has an awesome piece of our history on it, our first logo. We'll be taking off the door and putting it in the entrance of our our warehouse with some other piece of our history as well. So, make sure when you stop by the headquarters to look out for the original freezer/fridge door.
Have a good day everyone and enjoy the 3 day weekend. Remember our Labor Day sale ends tonight at midnight so make sure you take advantage of some great deals. Enjoy the video!

COME OUT AND JOIN ADAM & THE TEAM @ FUNFEST!
The Midwest is known by many names: America's Breadbasket, the Heartland, Flyover Country – the list goes on. Mid America Motorworks is adding another name to the list – Corvette Country! Every September, thousands of Corvettes flock to the Midwest – and specifically Effingham, Ill. – for Corvette Funfest. That's why Mid America Motorworks is celebrating Corvette Funfest 2015: Corvette Country
Corvette Funfest is scheduled for Sept. 17th through 20th and kicks off with a Thursday Night Fun Run, where the Effingham Convention and Visitors Bureau hosts a Welcome Fest. The annual Friday Night Charity Event includes a silent auction to raise funds for a worthy cause and the headlining Saturday evening concert caps off the weekend with world class music.
All four days are packed with activities that center around America's Sports Car. Visit the Install Dome for new exhaust, American Racing Headers, Superchargers, intakes and custom interiors. The Fun Dome will feature the latest Corvette lifestyle items, from books, apparel and leather jackets, to furniture, jewelry and accessories that make your Corvette passion come to life. Seminar Village is the place to hear industry experts share tips, technical information and fun memories of their experiences with Corvettes. Combine these events with Celebrity Choice Awards, special displays and Corvettes as far as the eye can see and you'll be eager to come back and do it all over again in 2016!

Hey Jack,
I'm glad you love the Americana Wax! The applicators are for the Brilliant Glaze. If you already have a Red Hex Grip, then by all means us that as it is easier to apply with. Save the Microfiber Applicator pads for another product. I personally love to use them when applying VRT to my car trim. You can also use them to apply glass sealant, to level out quick sealant, and many other uses. They are very versatile.
I'm sure everyone has their own different uses for them as well.

And thanks to everyone else. It's really nice getting all these compliments on my cars. Makes all the effort worthwhile. Although, at least some of the credit has to go to Adam's Polishes.

Rupes 15 hands down! The easiest machine to use with the perfect amount of power. Plus the 6" pads are great for covering a lot of surface area..
