  1. Always nice to hear praises from Dan in my book. You helped me more than you probably noticed when I called asking questions when I first started out in this endeavor last year. I enjoy this new found addiction I have acquired from you crazies
  2. Thanks Shane or def gets some good shots to show off your skills
  3. Thanks John I'll send you a pm with the materials I used. I used adams rinseless wash and then followed with clay and detail spray to start with. I am working through some compound and polish I already have on hand prior to buying more at which point I will be trying out the Adams family
  4. I decided that I wanted to get some strong before and after pics of just how much a good compound and polish help a vehicle look. I achieved the result I wanted and hope it helps get a few jobs this next year. I had 45 mins total in the hood including prep, compound, and polish. This was my wife's first car that got washed with gravel and Brillo pads one would think. It sat under a walnut tree for 10 years and hardly got any cleaning and when it did as we can tell oh my. I use it to save miles and gas on my truck when she feels up to a drive again the old girl is getting old with 275k I let her have breaks as she requests
  5. As long as the pads are cleaned well you should be fine. Some staining might remain but that doesn't effect performance, at least it hasn't in my personal experiences. I have a few white pads that are for cutting that have a dark stain to them all the time but they work flawlessly
  6. Yes this has been brought up before here. After a good while they end up getting toast it appears due to the nature of the product. I guess it's a small price to pay for such a great product
  7. If the shop said wait I would wait just for safety. I had to struggle through it myself then I finally got to fix the hideous buffing they attempted
  8. Nothing different than sitting in the rain a few days and having spots, as soon as you take a nice drive they will be back to normal
  9. Not long at all but the shine requires sunshades. It's super easy to apply 15 mins for a mid sized sedan I would say. It's good when you want that extra pop
  10. Just wanted to give a shout out to the great shipping team and warehouse staff we have the enjoyment of being taken care of by. I order the 6 pack of double softs on Amazon a couple days ago they arrived to my door in 2 days. I'm glad I took the chance on the new double soft towels they are amazingly soft and the packaging is top notch. I must say the 2 older double softs I tried I never liked and they are door jamb duty towels. I am going to get them washed today and hopefully this weather breaks and I can use them in the next couple days. I just want to rub them constantly. Once again top notch service Adams thanks again
  11. Yea dan posted a while back they were going to start shipping soon I got them with my last order yet to try though. Glad to hear good things I didn't have issues from the old personally so even better if they are a notch better
  12. And I was just wondering what to get with my Amazon gc from Xmas bingo thx Adam's lol
  13. I believe it is a different individual that runs the Canadian division. It has been brought up before with other things not looking the same and sales etc. Try calling your customer service number see what they say it doesn't hurt to ask
  14. Got a new shotgun and a foam cannon would be my biggest scores. Also me and the wife didn't do gifts we're going to Jamaica in April instead so I guess that takes the cake
  15. I will third the suggestion of putting paint sealant down first then use the h2o as a topper. I got a solid 6 months this way and the paint sealant is a breeze to apply just 2 times a year with a monthly h2o. H2o works great on glass as well however I do notice on the windshield it doesn't hold up due to the wipers use sealant there
  16. Thanks Jacob if that's the case I won't get any suds lol, I am on well water and could sell particles out of my water as a side business. I am slowly building this arsenal up for detailing and a water softener solution is on the horizon hopefully
  17. Yea it's overkill but it's here and it works lol. I am looking into getting a nice electric unit this next year however. I did not know the hot water helped any I will try it out for sure. Thanks
  18. I got myself a foam cannon finally after getting a gc in my stocking. Anyone have any tips and tricks for it to produce thick suds. I'm sure it has directions but thought I would ask some first hand users what works best for them. It came with the strip wash but I also have the shampoo as I do not need to strip the wife's vehicle. I have a gas powered pressure washer with a max 3000 psi if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.
  19. There's a solid sale of 15% off right now I just placed my order for a few post Xmas goodies with my gift card
  20. Dwhite0960

    Adams sales

15% is pretty fair for a smaller sized operation such as Adam's. the big box type places mark down big sales because they are grossly overpriced for a cheaper chemical imo. I will pay a few bucks extra to support a USA based operation with exceptional customer service. Dan is my personal favorite but everyone I have had the pleasure with on the phone has been top notch
  21. I usually use h20 once a month it's very durable. I do use detail spray every wash besides that to add some extra pop however.
  22. I would say you can top off any ceramic although it's designed for Adams
  23. Chris thanks so much sir I will reply here in just a few. God bless
  24. I would contact dan I remeber him talking with someone else about a possible solution for this awhile back
