ocdrifter replied to 2Fords's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
You also forgot to mention theses new heads waste a lot of product, I'm sure you'll figure that out soon since you're so smart! -

Hey Carla hope all is well, this is horrible, be safe out there.

Carla, have you tried ebay? You would have a bigger audience and maybe someone would be interested in your trailer?

It's moments like these that make you want to endulge in your favorite pastime. As for me I like to feed whomever comes along and look at their face of joy when they taste the good stuff. As for Chris and the young gun Nate Dawg, only time will tell!

Covered in ash from near by forest fires
ocdrifter replied to Pickle's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Ash and water don't mix, it causes a horrible reaction to metal and painted surfaces, you need to wash that ASAP! Before it's starts to cause deteriorating of your vehicles finish. -
Baahahahah I was thinking the same thing!
-
That's what I'm talking about!

Matt you're fine, what you are seeing is the the residue of the polish sucking up the dust because of the freshness of the detail you can see it with the dust. It will wash off. As for the wiping or washing it all depends on the color of your car and how dusty your truck got.

I bought this same sparkling water this weekend at Vons, with a sweet deal, so I just tried mine and it does not taste funky so maybe someone sprayed it with something by accident or your wife is getting back at you for her dirty car Ryan lol.

Yes vinyl is very pourus, with that said I would buy a car cover even if it sits in your garage. 1. Wash car thoroughly with Adams car Shampooooo 2. You can use diluted All Purpose Cleaner and a horse hair brush to scrub the roof or adams interior brush is really nice and can get the job done and it's a really nice brush. 3. Dry car with a adams drying towel, they are nice and plush. 4. Adams Leather Treatment is a good choice for your roof because it has a high SPF factor in it and is safe to use on vinyl, this is to help protect from the suns UV damage. Since this is a old car you may want to consider doing rinseless washes you can find the videos on the adams site on how to do that if it appeals to you. Hope this helps Ps you don't have to scrub your roof every month with APC just when it's really dirty all other time just wash it like you would the car.
