  1. Jen, have you had any luck with this, did you try Rich"s idea? Inquiring minds want to know?
  2. The rims came out great Joel Two thumbs up!
  3. It's a personal preference, when I detail a car I have three machines ready to go 21 mm orbit with a five inch pad and a flex 8 mm with a six inch pad and the adams mini orbital for the hard to reach and small areas.
  4. I honestly don't remember how I found this info but I'll look for it again and let you know.
  5. When you cash a United States Post Office money order and you scam a person, it becomes a federal crime, then mostly likely you will be paying bubba a visit in the big house, Yikes!
  6. Sweet ride, Have you let the car sit in the hot sun for a few days after you removed the stripes? If not, do so, it will help the paint shrink as I call it and if not then I would go the color sanding route as others have suggested. If You coat the car you will still be able to see the lines from the decals. I would defiantly let it sit in the sun a few days first. Because the build date was fairly recently.
  7. Welcome to the Adams Forum Damion.
  8. I've seen this, some washing machines cause this kind of damage. I cut them off with a razor and keep them short, towels don't last forever and snags ruin the look lol, I just snagged a new one I almost cried but then I realized it's a towel and moved on lol.
  9. I like to use two or three pads per adams liquids, make sure you also pick up a pad brush so you can clean the pad after each panel you do. It's great to have multiples as you do a car. Good Luck
  10. I concur it's just the gassing of the materials in the car, it's no big deal sometimes it last for years and some a few months.
  11. Depends on the machine you're using? Let me know and I'll make a recommendation.
  12. Here is a link for what you need for your karcher setup http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/33169-karcher-k5-premium-pressure-washer/?hl=karcher You can also type karcher in the adams search bar and others will pop up, good thing for you karcher is made in Germany.
  13. Welcome to the Adams forum, full of some great people, enjoy your stay!
  14. My mitt never feels Irie, I rinse my mitt out real good then wring it out, use a towel and wipe it down, then I take it and hang it on a hanger for pants to let it air dry, I wouldn't put it in the dryer it will make it stiff like viagra, ops did I say that, this is a family forum and I'm a schmuck. Never leave it in the bucket to dry and don't put it in the sun. Leave it in a cool area.
  15. 1. Yes Trim coating, I did mine 2. Trim coating 3. I use a foam brush that's very small when needed 4. Honestly, it all depends on the persons body and how you get in and out of the car that causes the wear on the seat. Most people don't get in cars correctly and that's what causes wear on the seat. I believe in good leather lotions, adams has a great leather lotion, and I also believe the more you use, the better the seat stays conditioned, on my Ferraris I put leather condition bi weekly because basically the entire interior is leather. 5. Yes Trim coating on okay to use on weather tech matts, ask Nate Dawg! 6. I would do a iron decontamination to the paint, when you have the surface sprayed down use your wash glove to work the liquid into the paint and help move it around to help it penetrate the surface. 7. You can paint coat your wiper blade arms because they are panted or you can buy SEM wiper blade paint when needed. 8. I never done Trim coating I use the under carriage spray, I heard one guy use h20 guard and glove and he said it works great, just a idea.
  16. You're a month late, there was one sitting on the boards for a couple of weeks before someone scooped it up, it was in like new condition at a great deal.
  17. Baahahahaha, way to ruin the honeymoon!
  18. i use the same machine I use the lake country HDO pads since adams stopped selling this size of pads. Your old pad should work just fine, just make sure it's clean. I bet the look on your dads face was priceless, I probably would have had the same look lol.
  19. Hey Jen, I don't think you'll have any luck cleaning these dash plastics, I detailed one of these a few weeks ago and it was the plastic deterioration that was causing this problem. I have also seen it on a new ford this past weekend. If you find something that cleans it you can teach me how to do it.
  20. You out did your self my friend!
  21. Any pictures or it did happen...haha, hurry up get off the couch, there are some headlights that need attention to detail. Ps don't forget the pictures
  22. Yes it's a ceramic film and yes it helps a lot in heat rejection, it's become a very popular film, great stuff but very pricey here.
  23. It all depends on my mood, I concur with all the above!
