    Bees

Yeah I've noticed this before, something about DS definitely attracts bees. I'd probably want to avoid taking out the DS in this spot:
  2. Great work as always, Dan. I can't lie though, that middle sticker being higher than the other two is killing me!
  3. I read this post a while back and thought it was something I needed to try out as I couldn't stand the crazy dust and the constant cleaning of wheels! Well I took the plunge and had Akebono's put on my A5 and also on my wife's Q5 (although I went EBC's on the front as Akebono doesn't make fronts for the Q5). I used to do RW on my wheels at least twice a week on each car which worked well but was really time consuming, now the dust has been reduced to virtually zero. Basically the cars get dirty before the wheels do. Thanks @AudiOx for the recommendation. The only thing I regret is not doing this earlier.
  4. Really pleased with the Interior Scrubbing Mitt. Took a little time to get used to it, but it worked really well on the beige leather I just worked on, here are some 50/50 shots: I did have to rinse it out a few times but you could really see the dirt it pulled. For maintenance I'll stick to the Utility Towels, but for a full detail these work great and much easier than using the Cockpit Brush imo.
  5. Reviving this as I'm going to use the Interior Scrubbing Mitt for the first time. I noticed on the video that the mitt got really dirty real quick. For those that have used this, how do you clean the mitt when it gets dirty? I only bought one to try it out so I'll probably need to clean it a few times mid-detail. Can I just run it through water, wring it out and keep using it? Or maybe scrub it on a grit guard similar to a wash mitt?
  6. Definitely worth getting, you won't be disappointed. It's a big improvement over the older blue tire brush.
  7. Very nice, that looks like some serious gear! Look forward to your future write-ups and the pictures this baby will produce. Can I ask what made you decide to go with this specific camera?
  8. Turned out great, nice work! Yep, Skoda Octavia I believe @mc2hill
  9. Although not available yet, add this one to the list...
  10. I've started doing RW more often over a 2 bucket wash as I love how convenient it is. For the wheels I simply spray them with diluted RW and clean them with a MF towel (big box store), then hit them with some DS and they turn out great. My brakes produce a ton of dust so I need do this regularly to keep on top of it. Less than 45 minutes for 4 cars, that's impressive! I need to work on my game.
  11. Sounds like it was a great event. You got my vote all the way from Australia
  12. Thanks, Dan. It works now for the unread content. Can you also make this work for the other sections? For example, when you click on the Mystery Box thread in the Members Only section, it still takes you to the first page. You do have the option to click on the last page, but this will only take you to the top of the last page instead of the last unread post.
  13. Not sure if this is something I can change in my personal settings, but when I click on "unread content" and then click on a topic that has multiple pages, it should go directly to the last page instead of the first page. I believe this was how it was set up previously.
  14. I recently used the Merino Wool Mitt, Red Wash Mitt and Ultra Plush Drying Towel for the first time and wanted to give my feedback. Merino Wool Mitt: First impression was that I loved how soft it is and how it gets into all the nooks and crannies... but that's where the love ends. Overall I was disappointed with this product. It doesn't hold suds very well at all and seems to hold more water than anything else which makes it really heavy to use. It's also a very high-maintenance product. It takes days for it to dry and you have to constantly brush it with your fingers while drying to keep it fluffy. Oh and it sheds. First time I've been let down by an Adam's product. Red Wash Mitt: Up until now I was using the 10" Car Wash Pads which worked great apart from needing to brush them after every few washes so they don't get rough. The Red Wash Mitt is is definitely an improvement over the Wash Pads. They seem more gentle on the paint while still having enough cleaning power. They hold suds about the the same but they are much easier to clean on the grit guard while washing. It's also great not having to worry about possibly dropping it on the ground like I used to with the Wash Pads. They will be my go-to from now on. Ultra Plush Drying Towel: WOW!! This is hands-down the best drying towel I have ever used, not even close. Huge improvement over the GWDT which I will not be using again. I started by using the side with long fibers over the entire car first and then finished off with the thin side for a streak-free finish. Couldn't be happier with this towel.
  15. I actually did this par 3 some justice, although I can't say the same for the rest of my round! Can't complain though, It was a beautiful day on a great course
