  1. Looking for some clarification... I thought the term 'curing' referred to the process that happens after you remove residue? I currently apply LPS, start removing the residue once I've done the whole car, followed by a minimum one hour of curing to allow a nice full bond to the paint surface. My understanding was that letting LPS sit a long time before removing would make the residue harder to remove and would have little effect on the bond since the molecules are already on the paint.
  2. I've never really done a rinseless wash, apart from some spot-cleaning. Just curious.... are you saying that it takes around 1 gallon of RW (diluted) to wash your whole car? It seems like a lot, but maybe it's not as I've never attempted it. What dilution ratio do you use? Thanks.
  3. I'm buying a SK soon and will be making my first attempt at machine polishing. I didn't want to start a new thread because I had the same question as the OP. Although I also have some other question for the experts: 1. Is it necessary to wash the car (either CWS or Strip Wash) after polishing, or will some 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol get the paint ready for LPS? 2. I read somewhere (can't find the thread anymore) that when using Finishing Polish (with white foam pad), you can also add some Revive Hand Polish to the pad. What does this achieve? 3. Is the Pad Conditioning Brush only used for the Microfiber Cutting Pads, or can it also be used on the Foam Pads? How often do you clean the pads with the brush, after every panel? Thanks.
  4. Well done! Your bottles are nice and snug, I like how you maximized that space. I may need to re-do my bottle holder as it would be nice to fit more bottles on my cart.
  5. Welcome! That's a nice Forester you've got there.
  6. Great point. I just took my car to the body shop and they also bake the paint which means I don't have to wait!
  7. Awesome! Looking forward to the finished product.
  8. Can you still use Detail Spray after normal washes?

    Poor Choices:

I never used to clean the barrels of the wheels.
  10. That looks great! Love H2O G&G. What is that "Adam's" reflection in the middle of the second pic?
  11. Thanks! I got the complete interior LED kit from this place: http://deautokey.com/ Crisp white and error free. Couldn't be happier with the results. Completely agree, it's a must. Makes the interior really pop! The crappy cell phone pics don't really do it justice.
  12. Did a full interior replacement of the stock "yellow" bulbs with LED's:
  13. I use Rinseless Wash on the wheels in between washes and it works great.
  14. I use mine for windows (interior/exterior), door jambs, to clean bird bombs and you could also use them as drying towels as I believe they are the same material as the GWDT, just a smaller size and different color.
  15. Thanks for the info on this. So just to be clear, you don't currently have any paint coating on your car and you're just using Ceramic Boost as a stand-alone product after maintenance washes? Are you using Ceramic Boost as a replacement for DS after every wash?
  16. I wish they would come out with a small brush for low-profile tires.
  17. Great video! How long does it take you to dry the entire car with the MB?
