  1. At least his door glass is still intact! I used to see some crazy things while working at a bodyshop!
  2. Glad I could help! I just jumped on to see if you had found it yet.
  3. Hey guys, I just got done cleaning my BMW and I had a question about the Guard and Gloss. When applying to wet paint, do you change your wet towel or just simply reduce the amount you spray? When I was applying the H20, the wet towel got very slimy from the spray. I eventually just used the slimy towel to apply the sealant instead of spraying down panels. Did I do this right or should I have changed my wet towel more often? The paint looks great so far, but I also ran out of daylight so it is hard to tell.
  4. I am on my phone or I would look it up for you. On Adam's YouTube channel. There is a video from the shine doc where he goes over what to cover. I think the basis was to not ever spray anything electrical with a strong stream. Also, if it has a cold air intake, don't spray it. You can use plastic bags to cover parts like the alternator.
  5. Would LPS help to keep it from sticking? I can literally clean the car, drive around the block, and have them be dirty again.
  6. I can't wait to have time to take off our wheels and do the barrels. BMW brake dust is crazy!
  7. Welcome to the forum! Watch the videos on Adam cleaning the black CTS-V, if you haven't already.
  8. Just like Darryl said. The lug nut brush will be really valuable for getting all of those detailed spots. Liquid Paint Sealant and a coat of H20 Guard and Gloss will make them look great!
  9. Welcome to the forum Craig! Post some photos of your truck when you have time!
  10. I'm reading through this and haven't really seen a common theme. In everyone's opinion, does soak time need increased or maybe agitation time to achieve these results? I haven't used mine on my tires yet, however it did help with some trim that had wax caked on it.
  11. I saw that while googling. Is it basically a pumice stone? Does it damage the carpet at all?
  12. Way to make us jealous! Enjoy the great weather while I'm melting in Vegas! Welcome to the forum!
  13. There are so many options to get you started. I would look into the Daily Driver Kit or the Winter Washing Detail Kit. I personally think the Winter Washing Kit is a better value for my needs. Another idea is to just wait until the next mystery box sale and try out a bunch of new items. It all comes down to what you want to achieve.
  14. Are there any worries of cross-contamination between certain products? I typically categorize my towels by how dirty they are and then do corresponding loads with the cleanest going first and the worst going last.
  15. Thanks for the replies. Sorry Jason, I must have missed it on here. Our little guy, Rebel, might be small but he can shed with the best of them! Admittedly, I did let it go too long this time and that is what made it so time intensive. I even un-bolted our seats just to get it all. Are there any certain attachments that work best for you? I find on the floor mats, I can just vacuum them with an indoor vacuum and get it all out.
  16. Hey everyone, I've been looking around online but haven't found anything too concrete on pet hair. I seem to run a lot of advertisement that seem to be like "as seen on TV" sort of untested products. We have a Chihuahua mix that we adopted a few years ago. He loves to ride everywhere with us, but his hair likes to stay in the car. I spent the better part of 3 hours just trying to get as much of his hair out as possible. I am looking for a process or a tool to remove the pet hair from my carpet and to also maybe keep it from traveling so much. I am thinking maybe a blanket or something in the back for him would hopefully trap some of the hair. I have tried a squeegee and rubber gloves with no luck whatsoever.
  17. Welcome to the forum! Best of luck keeping that black truck clean!
  18. There is a video of Adam using it on his Jeep to decontaminate it during the winter. I can't find the video but I believe he used it non-diluted on his paint.
  19. If you can find a set of these on sale, I highly recommend them. Regular thing flip flops take a lot out of me while working outside. http://www.sanuk.com/mens-sandals/beer-cozy/SMS2839.html
