  1. Welcome to the forums, Bryan! Nice ride.
  2. Welcome, Mike! I'll admit I'm pretty new to Adam's and have some favorite products already (e.g., Tire & Rubber Cleaner, Wheel Cleaner, VRT) but I can't really make suggestions just yet on how best to start...lots more experienced people out there. You're in the right place, though. Good luck!
  3. Welcome to the addiction, Greg! You might as well just book the extra time now to detail your wife's Avalanche. Once you see the results on your Camaro, you'll both be hooked.
  4. Good catch, Dustin. That's what I did, too, except I did an alcohol (50/50 with water) wipe down after the polish vs strip wash, and didn t use the HGG/wax, which I didn't have or want to use. Following this, Jonny, you won't be disappointed. Don't forget your wheels (Wheel Cleaner) or tires (Tire & Rubber Cleaner). Good luck!
  5. Thanks for the heads up, Kraterer. So far I've only tried Goo Gone, and even APC. Hopefully I haven't stripped all my hard work...well, the PC buffer's hard work!
  6. Ditto! I was just typing the same thing but mistakenly closed the window. I followed this regiment (ironically on Norton's suggestion) on my son's daily driver with beautiful results. Since his was the experiment (I'm new to Adam's), time to do the same on mine.
  7. Welcome, fellow newbie...and Coloradoan. May see you at a future demo.
  8. Welcome, fellow newbie! Beautiful car.
  9. Welcome, fellow newbie! 7 orders...Wow. Did you need to move into a smaller place to offset the investment?!
  10. Does Goo Gone, WD-40, etc, remove the LPS and other Adam's products? Wondering how much I'll need to touch up, if any.
  11. Welcome, Ryan. Maybe we should start a support group?
  12. Welcome to the forum, Tanner
  13. Thanks for the warm welcome messages. And you were right. I've been scanning through a lot of postings and found some valuable info already. Does Adam's offer counseling for the addiction?! Ha!
  14. Thanks, Dustin. Hopefully this helps keep the wheel cleaner supply in check.
  15. Forgive me, I'm new here, but does LPS mean Liquid Paint Sealant? I checked the acronym list at http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/4903-adams-acronymsabbreviations/ but didn't see it. I'd like to protect my wheels for the winter and found this thread. I have both the paint sealant, if that's what this means, and the the H2O guard and gloss, so I should be all set, if so. Thanks in advance!
  16. Thanks for the great info. One friendly piece of advice, even from a newbie, if you're reading this: get the T&RC, use it, don't look back. Awesome stuff!
  17. Hi, fellow newbie! Enjoy the products and the forums. I'm already addicted to both...didn't take long.
