  1. Dustin, I bought the 2 pack of the new blue glass towels and I'll get them on Friday of this week. I'll let you guys know what I think of them.
  2. Joe...I haven't had much good luck with the yellow window towels. A little hard to use and they seem not to remove all the film off the windows. (inside) You might try the blue Perfect Window Towel and let me know what you think. I haven't purchased those yet. I just now tried the Brilliant Glaze trick on the inside of the windows and I'll see how that works. Somewhere I read that adding a thin coat of Brilliant Glaze on the inside of the windows will help keep that filmy stuff build up.
  3. Looks like the Adamspolishes.com is down again @ 3:30am PST. 2/7/17 Happening a lot lately! Was going to place an order, but I'll have to wait a while.
  4. Just to throw my 2 cents in, my favorite towels....it's a tie between the Double Soft and the Grey Edge-less towels. A really close second is the Single Soft towel. My least favorite of all is the Yellow Window Towel. That thing is almost useless when it comes to ease of use, having to make numerous passes to get the windows streak free. The Blue Waffle Towel ....well, not that impressed Grey Utility Towel.....perfect for those dirty areas that I don't mind getting the towel dirty. Prior to purchasing Adam's towels, I used to buy "The Ragg Company's" towels. They have quite a selection, but for the money I'm sticking with Adam's towels. With 3 cars to work on, I have a small stash of Adam's towels and never run out of a clean towel to use when washing and detailing.
  5. Kevin, I purchased the Paint Sealant about 4 months ago. Not sure if it's the old or new version. Just as a rule of thumb for me, I let the paint sealant cure more that usual. Plus, also making sure that I have a clean and clear base to put it on so the sealant will adhere to the paint.Aaron is right also. There are may outside factors that come into play when doing your detailing. That's just me!

    Glass Sealant

As a final step to my detailing, I apply the Adam’s Glass Sealant to all 3 of my cars. Then Adam’s came out with the Glass Boost that helps keep the Sealant in good shape. I’m just about to finish my last windscreen and it dawned on me. I thought to myself; “Self, why are you putting on a glass sealant when it only rains about 5 days out of the year here in Las Vegas Nevada?” Da! Well, I think my auto detailing OCD is kicking in again……LOL Haven’t had a chance to see the effects of the sealant yet, but when I do, I’ll let you know in about 350 days from now. Thanks Adam's Polishes! Love your products.
  7. Joel, I've found that BG will last a good 3 to 4 weeks...with a wash or two in between.
  8. Joe....I plan too on the next wash. Got some Ragg Top cleaner and sealant.
  9. Joe, here's a pic of one my "glory's"..... after a complete wash, clay, polish, paint sealant....etc.....etc. The wife an I just bought this 2015 Mercedes Benz E350 conv. a month ago and boy did it need some cleanup work. Thinking....maybe I should start a "Black Detail" thread and all the members who have black cars and trucks can post some detailing stories. Sorry if this post doesn't follow this topic thread, so Dan if you want to move it that's fine. I just wanted to answer back to Joe's post
  10. Dan, didn't need the Orange Hex Grip with Correcting Polish, Revive with a micro fiber towel did the trick. Thanks for your help.
  11. Shane......Revive and the micro fiber did the trick. Took 2 passes, but it got all the scratches out. Thanks!
  12. Thanks guys....I think I'll try the Clay Bar first...then if that doesn't work.....the Dremmel route...if all else fails....Revive.
  13. Anybody know a trick on how to get the scratches you find under the door handles? A mini won't fit and the hand held Correcting Pad .....I can't seem to get it far enough to get the scratches out. Ideas?
  14. I like your comment Joe! I have 2 black cars and your right......it's double the work keeping them clean and swirl free. But being a retired person with a case of Auto Detailing OCD, lots of time to play!
  15. Brian.....yea, I bought the kit.
  16. Thanks Dan. I thought it might be down for a server issue. The site's been down for over 4 hours.
  17. Is the Adam's website is down? All I get is a text website on IE and a white screen on Chrome.
  18. I found the blob remover on Amazon and ordered a bottle. I'll give it a try on my other car that has a touched up spot on the rear quarter panel. Hopefully it will be less of an effort using this instead of polishing down the blob. I'll post the results with some pics if I can.
  19. Shane....Yea I didn't need to use the Correcting Polish. The Heavy stuff did the trick and then finished it off with the Finishing Polish.
  20. Thanks for all the help guys! I really appreciated your suggestions. I was able to get the touch up paint spots 99.9% blended with the factory paint job. Here's the skinny on what I used. I taped off a larger than normal area so I could concentrate on the touched up area without touching the outside area. 4" Blue Micro Fiber Pad - 4" Blue Foam Pad--- 4 passes of each (alternating passes) 4" White Foam Pad with Adam's Finishing Polish--- 2 passes to finish the quality of the job. The touch up blobs were polished down almost to the original paint level. I did find the Blob Remover on Amazon and for a couple of other spots, I'll try that. Anybody ever use it? Like it? Once again, it took some time but the results came out pretty good. Thank You Adam's for some quality working materials.
  21. Brian, yea I have a Groits Garage mini. Couldn't wait for the Swirl Killer Mini.
  22. Brian.....there really isn't that much of a blob of paint for the touch up. Just enough where I thought I could polish it down just enough to match the level of the paint. I do plan to tape off the section of the touch up as not to destroy the clear surrounding it. I'm just not sure how much of the access paint touch up I can polish down with the Micro Fiber Blue or Yellow using either the Heavy Correcting or Correcting Polish. Thinking....aggressive (Blue Micro Fiber then pad) would get the access down, or play it safe and go with the Correcting Polish and make a few passes.
