  1. Thank You Adam! A Happy New Year to you and your staff. May 2017 be a better year yet for AdamsPolishes. After all the years of detailing and searching for that “one” product that really works, I found AdamsPolishes thru word of mouth from a friend of mine. Since then, I’ve been using your products exclusively. What keeps me using AdamsPolishes ? A good product line, excellent and I mean excellent customer support along with your instructional videos and communication within this forum. Lots of great folks here that are helpful and friendly.
  2. Happy New Years all from Las Vegas.
  3. One of my Christmas presents was a Gift Card from the wife.Thank You Dear..... So what do I do? Go right to the computer and place my order with Adams. See the pic below. The only thing missing were the mints! Damn.... Now I'll have to wait a month or so for warmer weather so I can use all my toys.....
  4. I installed new LED lighting in my garage. White Modern 4 ft. 48 Watt Low Profile Wraparound Flush Mount 2-light Ceiling Light Fixture with 6,000 Lumens - 6500K - 2x 24W LED T8 Tubes - Replacement for (4) 32W Fluorescent Bulbs. Boy oh Boy, really bright lighting now. Only problem is that now I can see all the swirls on the hood of my black BMW X3. Oh great.......break out the mini with Adams Correcting and Finishing Polish. Sorry I didn't have a before shot, but here are the final results. As usual, Adams came thru! If you want to use LED lighting in your garage....do it! If you have florescent lighting now, all you need to do is take out the ballast and rewire the fixture for direct 120. Works perfect for me. I had 4ft. T8 florescent and converted to T8 LED. Check out the specs above. This is really bright lighting.
  5. I also like the VRT on my wheels. It gives a deep matte look rather than a shinny one.
  6. Now that's what I call excellent customer service! This is a major reason (besides the quality of product) I stick with Adam's products. Merry Christmas folks and a prosperous New Year.

    It's working!

Joe, nope it's raining a steady light rain all day. The wife took the car to do so errands Tomorrow's a long drive......

What? Raining in Las Vegas! LOL Got a chance to see how Adam's Americana Wax holds out. Not bad huh......Glaze, and 2 coats of Americana Wax. On the lower pic, what look like scratches are the reflection of my tree next to the driveway.....LOL
  9. Got this one on Amazon. Works pretty good especially in the tight areas. I couldn't wait for Adam's to put this one on the New Products list. The Adam's 4" pads fit no problem.
  10. Yep, you be way out there.......I'm on the West side... Sahara and Buffalo area. Welcome to the Forum. You'll find a lot of nice and helpful people here. Enjoy!
  11. Hi Neighbor! What side of Vegas are you on?
  12. For me, Adam's Paint Sealer or the Metal Polish didn't do such a good job of "shinny chrome". So I found a chrome wax from another manufacturer that did the trick. The wax is advertised to give about 200 car washing's of protection for the chrome, plus gave a wonderful chrome shine. With the Adam's VRT on the tires, I've got a great combo.
  13. I'll throw my 2 cents in......LOL Here's my BMW X3. After all the steps, here are my results. Took a while, but I got there.....LOL
  14. Joe, I've done my 2 Beemers quite a few times over and 2 of my neighbors cars and I still have some left over. I did order the Patriot Wax last week and I'm waiting for that one to arrive so I can give it a try. Merry Christmas
  15. Anyone watch the wheel coating video yet? There's a sneaky new product flash at the end. Chit...I just bought a mini.
  16. Self.....Move to Las Vegas! Or somewhere warmer.
  17. Dan....thanks for the quick reply. See the attached pics. Right where my finger is, that the oxidation area. The darker spot is the reflection of the cam. I do need a Heavy Cut chrome polish for the spotting. As for the minor scratches (previous owner didn't take good care of the chrome) I'll use the #1 metal polish and see how that comes out. Then follow up with the #2 for the finish. I'm thinking that a good coat of Americana Wax will help protect the chrome surfaces for a while along with the #2. What'ca think?
  18. Anybody know how effective the Metal Polish #2 is compared to Maguires Med/Heavy cut paste. My chrome wheels on my Beemer constantly oxidizes in spotty areas and the only way to get them polished is to use a dremel on the affected area. I'll edit this post later and add some pics to show you what I'm talking about. I'd like to try the #2 metal polish, but I don't know how it compares to the Heavy Cut Maguires.
  19. Welcome to the club....LOL Always lots of good info on detailing here. You'll enjoy it.
  20. Ryan.....LOL Here in Vegas it stays a little on the warm side during the winter and like you, I can duck in the garage and do a few final touches. As for your neighbors ...... well you can do like I do. Stand back and admire your work and say "Damn, I do fine work". LOL
  21. Here in Las Vegas NV, the nighttime temp rarely goes below 35 or so and my garage is pretty well insulated. The temp in my garage in the winter normally holds around 50 to 60, so I should be OK keeping my Adam's fluids and waxes in the garage.
  22. Sorry Joe, No can do! Besides the fact that I can't sell or trade from the Forum, I'm almost out of my 1st tub of Americana Wax and I've got 3 more cars to detail within the next week before Xmas. Sorry. Hope we're still friends! LOL
