  1. You are a good sport. I like the quote in your signature too, 100% true for any gear head
  2. I had the same issue with my old Torch Red Z06. I just had to live with the pitting. Normally the car looked fantastic, but when the light hit the car from certain angles you (a non detailer would never notice)could see the pitting which drove me crazy.
  3. Great looking C5 and another thumbs up on the CCW's. What lift kit is on the car though
  4. I just used mine again last night (with the Powerstick) and was thinking the same thing.
  5. Nice job on the detail Wow, $2k for each wheel? If they are ever stolen, you could buy a nice set of HRE's with tires for less money as a replacement!
  6. Define anything? Detail related? Car shows?
  7. I might believe this if you just finished detailing the car and the tires had tire shine all over the tread. You may incur some slip and slide in the first few miles, but this would quickly wear off. Adam's VRT comes off after driving through a good rain or from a light scrubbing with soap and water. I don't think it is strong enough to bond with or penetrate your tires though. I think most vipers end up in trees due to driver inexperience (mainly from the lack of ABS or traction control) instead of detail products used.
  8. The paint looks great, but it looks naked w/o any VRT on the tires!
  9. Lojak just tells you were your stolen and stripped car is Go with a Clifford Avant Guard system http://www.clifford.com/Products/Product.aspx?ProductID=719 About the only way to steal a car equipped with this setup is with a tow truck or flat bed.
  10. Great looking car. I just went to FL with my brother to pick up his 07 G35 Sedan, what a fun car to drive
  11. Nice job, I like the center lights on the Mustang.
  12. Send all unwanted water to Lake Lanier please!
  13. Adam, You would be amazed at what the scrubbing bubbles will take care of. I have used this stuff for 15 years and it has never failed me, even on the toughest stains.
  14. We have a winner :thumbsup::thumbsup:
  15. Look at post #9 As with anything try a small area first (even though I have never had any trouble with the DOW scrubbing bubbles removing the color from interior surfaces)
  16. The Dow bathroom cleaner with scrubbing bubbles works wonders on carpet, seats, etc. Slightly dampen the area that needs cleaning with water Spray area with scrubbing bubbles and let it sit for about a minute Use a soft bristled brush to scrub the area and then use a soft towel to dry
  17. I left you a bunch of 5 star ratings. All great stuff!
  18. Nice job on the detail, makes me miss my old Dinan S2 540/6 I don't miss the maintenance bills of owing a BMW though!
  19. Looks great! Don't get me wrong, VRT is one of my favorite Adam's products.
  20. I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the green wheel cleaner since I have been using Eagle One A-Z all finish wheel cleaner for about the past 15 years with nothing else coming close. After watching the video about the Powerstick I thought I would order one and give it a try to go along with my new green wheel cleaner and boar's hair wheel brush. I tried all three new products over the weekend and I am nothing short of blown away by how much time and effort these new products saved me. No more cutting my hands trying to clean the inside of the wheels or having irritated skin (or burning if you get some cleaner in a cut!) from a harsh cleaner I also really like the boar's hair brush. It does a good job of getting in the crevices and wheel lug area I would estimate that I cut my wheel/tire cleaning time by 50% Thanks again Adam's!
