As an alternate to clay, you could also add a step after the iron decon and hand apply some Revive Hand Polish. The RHP will remove additional contaminants without the potential for marring as with the clay bar or clay mitt. Then you can move on to the application of LSP of your choice. Just a thought.

Welcome aboard. . I'd be willing to bet you'll get a bottle in at least one of your MBs, but if for some reason you don't, you'll definitely want to pick up some Detail Spray. It's one of Adams' flagship products for a reason. You will love the ease of use, the clean finish, the tremendous shine; and the smell is awesome !!! Use it as a drying aide with each wash and for quick touch ups.

My 2 cents thrown in. I agree with @pirahnah3. Sounds to me like there was a reaction between the dealer-applied sealant and the BW at the chemical make-up level. The buttery wax is a carnauba blend with polymers and the dealer sealant may be SI02 based or some other chemical blend that doesn't play well with either the carnauba or the polymers.

^^^^^ Agreed with @cwp2016nd and @pirahnah3. A little APC and some elbow grease followed by a thorough rinse and adequate drying time and you're good to go.

I'd be up for a nice cruise. Throw out some possible dates and locations so we can check schedules and see what works for everyone interested.

Glad I could help.

If I'm not mistaken, the Cinco De Mayo spray is the exact same scent as 2017 Mystery Scent. When I put them side by side, they are the same color and the scent is the same to my sniffer. Seems like the MS was a test bed for the 2018 Limited Edition 5/5 release.

Depending on timing and my schedule, I'm all for attending another clinic. I picked up a few tips at the last one and am always up for meeting like-minded individuals who share my passion for cars.

Might be etching, possibly bird dropping residue or damage it caused. Who knows. But wax doesn't remove contaminants and the like. Revive Hand Polish would be ideal to try, as well as clay. If neither of those work, do you have a polisher you could take to it?
^^^ as @falcaineer said, give the Revive Hand Polish a try. It should remove the residue or marking.
