tlbullet reacted to Team Adam's in Wash & Wax or Ultra Foam Shampoo, which one.
Hi all,
Clearing up some confusion regarding this topic. When we talk Silica and SiO2, we think of immediate curing and hydrophobic intensity. Wash and Wax does contain a small amount of silica in it (why it plays well with coatings) but don't think of it as a soap packed full with ceramic properties. The silica is a small polymer-like addition that helps with beading over repeated washes.
So in conclusion: YES, Wash & Wax does contain silica. Keep your eyes peeled for a much more robust soap that may or may not contain an increased amount of SiO2

tlbullet got a reaction from Liralen in Whats the best way to hang/display my Adam’s spray bottles
Thanks for all the ideas and photos. I was finally able to mount my shelving unit after several Nor’easters!!!
Please excuse the “non-Adam’s” products (just started using Adam’s last week!!). I have a cabinet next to it for additinal storage.

That is pretty much what I did! Check the right side of the picture. Think they were $15 each and I used two. Perfect bar for the bottles and gives me storage above. Plus the bottles are out more so easier for someone with shorter arms to be able to grab. The shelving is from Costco. Two units. You just assemble so one set is stacked and another is set to workbench height. Think they were about $80 each.
