I knew there was a reason I liked Dan (besides he owns an SS). I was born and raised in PA. Left as soon as I could to someplace that did not have snow on the ground 5-6 months a year. Love the beach ⛵

That's in my backyard and is a beautiful, albeit a bit of a white knuckle drive in places.  You'd better say hi when you pass through...while on your way to the Adam's Mother Ship in Denver...hint, hint!!

I can see you now dancing when that day comes. I think I did the same dance. I've been around the world six times and can show you pictures of all kinds of stuff. But hardly any of them are in the United States. So my list is pretty full. First stop, Mount Rushmore. No one knows after that.

No sir, it would not apply during drying,  of course always use caution, make sure your towel is clean,  I do at times go in different directions, but it would be safer to be methodical about it and go in straight lines.

Key take away, is that most damage happens during the wash/dry process.

I had to use Brilliant Glaze on both my cars because the windshields had more streaking than a 1970s college campus! (Or maybe it was 60s, I wasn’t in college until the 80s and we clearly didn’t have enough streaking then😀)

I'm behind on my posting of what I did over the weekend.  If it wasn't for being a friend, I'm not sure I could have handled this one.   Sometimes, you have to go against your better judgement and do what is best for the person.   The first picture is as delivered, the second picture is after it had some "shine" put to it.   The rains came in on Sunday, so I didn't get to take an outdoor picture before it departed.

The Dodge paint is rather soft and there are plenty of stone chips for being a 2018.   I offered to correct them if she picks up a Paint Pen and then I'll put CSC on it to try and keep it looking decent a big longer.  At this point, I know the vehicle is clean so as long as nobody else touches it, it shouldn't be too bad to get get prepped for CSC.

    Yes of course,

the reason for so many products seems to be to accommodate peoples needs. Depending on what type of wheels you have, you can determine which product you may need. so start by thinking about what you have on your vehicle.

    Wheels-
Wheel Cleaner - Not for delicate wheels. Basically the best wheel cleaner I've ever used. It's a very powerful cleaner with an iron remover built in. This one will turn purple as it reacts with ferrous materials, that's how you know its working. This is my favorite for my wheels so far. Fair warning, Wheel Cleaner doesn't smell the best, I like to wear gloves when I use it.

Eco Wheel Cleaner- This is good for delicate wheels, like after market wheels and black wheels. This is a good cleaner which won't stain those delicate wheels if used properly. Smells pretty good, and people love it. I put it pretty close to Eco All Purpose Cleaner in my book. No iron remover built in here

Tire and Wheel Cleaner- All in one product. Made to tackle wheel and tires. on wheels - No iron remover built in, but a very strong cleaner even using it diluted to half strength. Gets rid of build up pretty easily. Reminds me of All Purpose Cleaner.

    Tires-
Tire and Rubber Cleaner - Great for cleaning rubber. This could be for tires, rubber trim, rubber pieces in an engine bay, etc. Really one of my favorite products. This turns orange-brown as you agitate to tell you that the tire is dirty. When I plan to use Tire Shine or Tire Armour after the cleaning, I make sure to do multiple passes until the Tire and Rubber Cleaner no longer turns orangey-brown but foams up white. One of my favorite products.

Tire and Wheel Cleaner- All in one product. Made to tackle wheel and tires. on tires - VERY EFFECTIVE. Treat it like Tire and Rubber Cleaner on Tires, but it seems to pull dirt out way quicker. As soon as it hits the tire it seems to turn orange. Crazy. This also left my tire the most bare I've ever seen it. I like to use this on my tires more than I like to use it on my wheels.

All Purpose Cleaner and Eco All Purpose Cleaner can also be used for Wheels and Tires, but I like using the dedicated wheel and tire products.

Keep in mind all of these are strong cleaners, and should be used as instructed. You never want to give these enough time to dry on the surface.

Sunday (10/13) I  did a Rinseless wash on the Accord after spending the previous (long) weekend at Melbourne Beach.
We still have love bugs around, so once we arrived at the hotel I cleaned the front  + windshield with Waterless Wash and a Waterless Wash Towels (they came off fairly easily as I had just put a fresh coat of G&G on).  During the very relaxing trip we had rain a few times, including on the ride home (not complaining as it keeps the love bugs from flying).  I usually would have washed the car as soon as we got home, but they are replacing drainage pipes on our street AND burying the power lines (yay!  hopefully not more week long power outages after hurricanes), so I waited until the dust settled (literally!).

Sorry, I meant to put “me” in between had and looking.  I researched it and it doesn’t.  We are looking to relocate to eastern TN plus we go visit my family up north in December.

Just wanted to share some pics with the good members here plus any lurkers who may be on the fence about the Ceramic Waterless Wash.
we finally started getting rain, yesterday, after 6 weeks of bone dry weather with temps near 100 at times.  The Subaru this morning, untouched, as it sits.  Coming home last night, we hit a downpour for about10 miles.  To reiterate, long term base coating, three applications of the Ceramic WW , one time used a s a Rinseless wash.  Car was traditional washed last week.
Hopefully , you can tell by the pics, on how great a job it did with rejecting the vast amounts of precip and Environmental contamination.  In the one pic, you can see the dirt accumulation along the rocker panels and lower doors but  that’s about it.  Keep in mind, no rain in 6 weeks and high temps...
Ive been Detailing 30 years and Adams Ceramic and have tried many products.  This is one of my all- time favorites...

Nope have not been inside any of the parks for over 10 years.  We do go to their shopping/entertainment/sports facilities a few times a year though.

Sounds like a good plan on going down to 1 car - more room in the garage!  But 'other' car to use when you doing a long detail session.
Good idea on the beater truck - I have one, but bought it new 20 years ago!
