UPDATE: 20th Day.....

So-far-so-good! The higher heat and humidity we get in the summer is usually the real test for this "wet dog" smell. I still do not notice any diminished results of the Odor Bomb.

Thought I'd post this picture to hopefully generate some additional interest in the #88 Alex Bowman Adam's Polishes Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Car Car Kit. I've had too many car/trucks over the years. MANY that I have regretted getting rid of, but I have to say that the biggest regret was selling my 1972 Corvette 454 4spd. I put a lot of money and sweat into that Vette. It was immaculate! Still wander what I was thinking when I traded it away!! 😞

I'd have to say washing/detailing my vehicles is not on the top of my favorites to-do list, but HATE A DIRTY VEHICLE! So, detailing is a love/hate situation for me.

 And I have found that the Adam's "systems" of detailing products are easy to use and provide outstanding results.

UPDATE:   So I used the Odor Bomb as per instructions. Placed it in the truck yesterday evening, and removed it this morning. I left it in the truck for approximately 15 hours. After removing the container and venting the truck for about 30 minutes I got inside and closed the doors. I have to say I am impressed with the results. The dog smell was gone. The interior smell was clean. Hard to explain. Not like it was masking the odor, just "new" spelling.

The real test will be as it gets hotter and more humid here in NC. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hey Mark, one thing. Use the Adam's Leather Conditioner on those seats. Kept my seats looking brand new up to the day I traded her in.

 

I actually used the conditioner last weekend. Great results and smells awesome!!

^^ I use WD-40 for most "sticky residue" issues. And I'll also reiterate.... always try a test spot first.

The previous owner of my 2015 Silverado crew cab owned a dog that I think lived in the back seat area. It appeared that the owner would lift the seats up and the dog traveled laying on the carpet. There were even a few areas where the carpet had been chewed through. Luckily those areas are hidden when the seats are in their normal position.

Anyway, here in North Carolina, when the weather gets hot and humid, the "wet-dog-smell" presents itself. I have cleaned and shampooed the carpets, used all sorts of odor eliminators and odor masking sprays, but the smell always returns! I also replace the in-cabin air filter on a regular basis!

I recently saw the Odor Bomb on Adam's website and decided to give it a try. I just received notice that my order shipped. I am praying that this product will finally do the trick on this persistent odor.

Looking for anyone with a similar experience, and especially someone that has used the Adam's Odor Bomb. Will this product permanently eliminate this type of odor? Or is it a short term fix that will have to be repeated occasionally? Other product recommendations (sent via PM) would also be appreciated!

I have been around for many years and detailing my cars (non-professional) with just about every retail product that has hit the shelves. There are many excellent retail products on the market, but over the last year I have started transitioning my detailing "tool box" over to ALMOST strictly Adam's products. I also recently decided to give Ceramics a try. I wasn't convinced enough to spend the $2000+ for a professional ceramic application, but became very intrigued with what I kept reading about the ceramic spray coating from Adam's. The process was easier than I expected, and the results were outstanding. I look forward to learning more from the fine folks on this forum. I hope I will be able to contribute as well!
