Dan@Adams reacted to Adam in Adam's At Corvettes at Carlisle 2015!
Indeed, and don't forget the party! This will be our 11th annual, "Customer Appreciation Party," which happens on Friday of the Corvette Show, every year. Just outside of Gate 3, you will see a house with a tent, and a giant bottle of Detail Spray!
Can't wait, and our team is stronger than ever, and you will get a chance to meet our newest team member, Kourtney!

Yes,
Adam's will again be at Corvettes at Carlisle next week Thursday August 27 through Sunday August 30. Come on by to see us, get your supplies restocked, check out product demos, and talk with Adam himself!
Look for us in row IE Spaces 125-130 at the lower end of the Mid Way, in a nice corner spot.
We'll have the new trailer set up for this show!
Of course the large inflatable Detail Spray bottle will be the beacon to guide you.

Next was cutting out the chrome arcs for the next circle section.
Then I hot-glued handles onto the back from a 15-foot ratchet strap from Home Depot ($3.47).

This isn't my video, but it shows how good it flies! Pretty impressive for being mainly cardboard and duct tape

Dan@Adams reacted to rusman in Super VRT....WOW
I bought a used 2004 F150 a few days ago. Here is a pic of the difference SVRT made on the black cowl piece (left side of the pic was treated once, right side was the way the truck was when I bought it). I've since done a couple of more applications of SVRT and the cowl is just looking better and better.

I'll start by saying that I don't like being bored, and I'm a bit of a nerd and artistic person, so when I saw this online, I knew I had to make one. Constructed mainly out of one large Adam's double-wall cardboard shipping box. It took me about a week to make, working on it a little each night after work. I will provide a full materials list at the end of the finished result post
Hmm, what am I up to now?
Starting to shape a few of the triangle pieces.
Any guesses? And NO CHEATING by looking at the photobucket URL. Well, if you do, don't post it up to ruin the surprise for everyone else.

Dan@Adams reacted to Team Adam's in bordlerless blue discontinued??
LOL... I will never understand the outright obsession with slight discoloration on towels. Think about this -
A white towel is going to be the easiest way to see dirt, grime, debris, etc... a little discoloration being the only downside, but it doesn't impact performance in the least. On the flip side you can have colored towels, that make it difficult to see contamination in the fibers that are potential for damage.
I get OCD, but OCD for the wrong reasons is beyond me - ultimately my OCD falls on the prevention of damage to paint, not the color of my towels. Guess it takes all kinds.
As far as the towels... look for the full sale announcement later today. I wouldn't jump on them just yet as you may end up missing out on other things.

Dan@Adams got a reaction from spx1000 in Swirl marks in Black paint
Wanted to show a few more results that are possible with the two-step polishing system and the Flex polisher. This truck was my dad's daily driver work truck for 11 years before I bought it off of him in late 2013. He only ever washed it with a hose, a sponge, and a bucket of dirty water, which caused severe swirl marks all over the entire truck. He never used soap because he was always taught that soap strips off the wax, and he still won't listen to me that the proper soap will not do that. Anyway, here are some before and after pictures:
The whole truck looked like this:
Front passenger fender before, notice how hazy the reflection of the two 500w halogen spotlights look and all of the scratches around that area:
Front passenger fender after just one pass of the orange Paint Correcting Polish until it flashed and was ready to wipe off. The finish got even better as I continued on with the Paint Finishing Polish:
Corrected clear coat on the left side of this picture of the fiberglass bed lid, uncorrected on the right. You can see a very apparent line from the reflection of the sun where I stopped polishing for demonstration purposes for my dad:

Dan@Adams reacted to GPC1 in MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The 7th Annual GPC Detail Clinic!! Dinner Sign UP!
Hey to everyone out there!! From all of us here at Grabiak, THANK-YOU!!
From the Dinner to the end of the show, I want to start with a special thanks to Adam for including us in his already busy schedule. He drives out from Carlisle every year to support us. Adam, it's been a great run to this point and looking forward to the next time (May 2016)
The list of names who join us Friday to the support before, during and after the Clinic is long and may take me a long time to type, and I am very slow lol. Thank-you for the kind words and hope to hear from or see everybody sooner than later. Without this, we are not successful. And I know how far some of you travel to be here, up to 5-6 hrs. I also welcome any suggestions and/or comments for next year.
This year was a great success!!
