  1. Hello gang! Been a while here... but all is well.

I will try to keep this short and sweet, and I hope I'm posting this in the right "area".

Basically, my previous dealership and I are still tight like family. Over a decade now.
Complete with job offers - but they're never quite on the mark or... they're just close enough, but no cigar - for a role that would work.

Well it's back on the table now. Not so much an offer, but...

They'd like me to think of a great way to bring the detailing in-house. New car prep, certified used, and maybe some unique jobs here and there.
My buddy's concern is "how". And, while I would do some hands on stuff and advise / train, he would want me to manage a small team and keep things moving. And of course, have full limitless budget to stock ADAMS products. I'm trying to roadmap / layout an idea and basic structure for him. I was hoping for some insight and guidance. I do this stuff on the side by myself, but we've been dancing around this for a while now – as far as taking it full time and being more of a manager. I know this is semi-vague but I didnt want to make this a 90000 word post.

Any input is appreciated! I'm really trying to make this work/help him finally be happy (and myself happy) with this possible position. Also, they pay WELL. Salaried. M-F. 8-5. Bennies. Vaca. Yes, its true. LOL. Thanks peeps...

    ANY Input is appreciated.

I wish the clay worked, but I think they're just shot. They do have a lifespan, sounds like you reached the end of it 😢

it's ok!!!! the whole shebang was worth it, it needed it.. and i still cant believe the pristine level of the paint. im so happy with this session. best ever.

as for the towels, all good. as mentioned above -i wont trash them. ill use  for other tasks and dirtier jobs. win/win.  all good.

    thanks kids! ADAMS rocks.

That may be your culprit... Keep us posted.

welllllp!!! hahhaa.... I couldn't wait. i left work early, packed up my polisher (cordless, yay!) and got to work. a clean slate. strip wash, iron remover, clay, machine polish, sealant, etc etc. .... (by now you all know the drill)... topped off LAST but not LEAST with Slick and Slide. (ps. the Graphene DS is KILLER!) ... Guys, I'm not kidding. ... ive never felt (on any car) a final finish so smooth and flawless. The mystery still is, though: New micros did NOT lint. Freshly washed ones (air dryed) still did. So, clearly something odd is happening (all of a sudden, all these years later) in my washing process. no clue. But... for now... I'm distracted by how wonderful it came  out. ADAMS = the ONLY CHOICE. The one step polish kinda blew my mind. I was not expecting such ease and such QUICK perfection and satisfaction. CHEEERS

  4. HI!

so... as SLICK  as the paint  looks and feels ...  and it does...

i do realize its  probably due for a strip/clay. for some dumb reason  i didn't even THINK of that affecting those  towels.

and sure enough, i did the  age  old baggie test last night... not  as bad  as i expected, but def a GRIT all over the car. and the ***-end/tail/bumper... is noticeably coarser  grit...

so i know what i'll  be doing this weekend! then we'll see!!!!!!  THANKS!!!  :)

  5. Well... (I know this isn't a riveting topic)... More detail fun yesterday with the charger,  with air-dryed towels this time..

more linting,  possibly  worse this time. I  threw one of my single softs in the trash thinking, maybe its just ... DEAD? (its about 3 years old).

No idea. never had such a bad issue before. My next idea (after doing some research  here) ... is HAND washing.

Wanted to follow the thread,  had about 10 towels do the same to me lately out of nowhere.  Boiled, and even washed individually.  Nothing has helped.

Hmm.. ya, I'm in the same boat. And again - its  only those single-soft versions. Im going to try to wash them FULLY isolated and air-dry. :) Everything else is ok! Happened again last night during a 3 step "waterless magic session"... haha... car was ok, just a little dotted from a quick rain and some flinging of tire shine... I had to switch towels again but... it came out ok. I'm not normally a "waterless" guy, but... this is PRIMO:  CS3 / Vivd DS / Slick N Slide. Holy cow!

Easy to apply and remove. I used a little less than half a bottle for my full size truck. Did the glass sun roof and all windows too. Paint has a bit of extra pop now. I'll use Boost every few washes or so. Easier than most liquid type sealers. Let's see how long it lasts! 😃

oops. i just realized you did it. hahaha. wow!!! no wonder it looks so great. but still, ... take my advice if you ever get in a jam. its amazing.

  8. Gorgeous truck. Honestly, since Ive had my 19 Scat Pack... ive babied it with nearly ALL of Adam's ceramic INFUSED products...

and even a good pal at a GREAT BODYSHOP said to me... "you dont even need to coat it."

I am in the same boat... I dont really have the place to do  the full coating / cure times / etc.

My paint is till ALMOST  90% swirl free and water FLIES off it. Everywhere I go (nearly) I get comments on the Charger and the paint.

I love the ceramic wash, the liquid wax, the CS3,  etc. etc.  .... This method and choice of products has been BEYOND good to me.

Good luck and congrats on the ride!

  9. Ok... I've read and researched the threads on this, so I really am sorry if this is ... redundant... but it's now a first for me!

My single soft white micros and the blue waffle versions... suddenly... are linting so bad, i have to stop and swap out with a new, different towel.

Ive boiled them, I wash according to instructions with adams cleaner ONLY (and lately the new one) with no issues. But, suddenly ONLY these lint HEAVILY. And its really HARD to get off!

I know this may be futile...  but... ??????? Anyone? It's insane. Im about to ditch them altogether or just use them as dirty JOB rags.

So I washed the wife's car on Mother's day and it sat outside for a week. It was supposed to rain the weekend after so I decided to run outside and try the CS3and see how It does. Disclaimer, the wife's car has no protection on it. It hardly get washed.  I left 1 door untreated to see if I could see a difference. Before it rained I could feel a difference and see a difference. Well it rained today. First pic is the door not treated. 2nd pic is treated. It is an amazing product considering all the beading you see is all because of CS3. Before it didn't bead AT ALL. Last pic is glass sealant. Love that also :)

I'm going nuts with this stuff and probably using it too often on both our SUVs :) It is rather pricey but I bit the bullet and now have two gallons. At least now I don't mind using it as a QD.

    ITS AMAZING!

great results last weekend, sorry - i shoulda posted! incredible! DEF my new fave product. Hands down. KEEP IT UP GUYS!

I'll end up buying it, a true detailer will always want more detailing products. I'd like to see some reviews on YT first. Like Brian from Apex Detailing. I read the page on it, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around just how different this is than the Ceramic Waterless. I know they said it's better, but a head to head video would be helpful. I'm interested in both. But I don't think they're different enough to have both in your arsenal. My detailing cabinets just about full so I have to be careful in what I add.

COOL! yes, his channel is good! And if I order it soon and use on the Scat Pack, I will be sure to report my findings. :)

Don't see why you couldn't, but it would be overkill imho and make for a pretty pricey QD. Now with that said, I could see myself using it time to time as a QD when I don't have anything else available lol.

    *EDIT*

On a clean clean car I'd imagine a lot less product here would still give you all the same non cleaning benefits. So maybe this wouldn't be that expensive to use as a QD.

Ya... good point... both points! Still seems nice to have in the Arsenal. Definitely!

  14. HI ALL

I know it may seem like a dum dum question, but after some poking around and watching the video and reading about the properties and roles of the NEW CS3, ...

I was wondering if you could also use this for some extra protection and shine on freshly pampered CLEAN surfaces safely? I wound think SO... but one never knows. Ive been using ADAMS for a decade now and products such as this seem to have some "flexible" uses... I am guessing this is one of them. I love the idea – and not to go off topic, but I am an avid fan of the Ceramic infused products as it is! Shampoo, Wax, Waterless... etc:

  15. Last week i took home my NEW '19 Dodge Charger R/T PLUS Scat Pack...

did a FULLLLLL detail and used the paste. I must say, it's one of my new favorites. my pro tip to you is use it SPARINGLY, spread it out nice and even, and with the new (WORLD CLASS) interior towel, lightly buff and "finish". I love it! And I "treated" every surface that needs it most.
