Sounds like you'll need to finish down with PFP on a white foam pad.

GerryC got a reaction from Chadg in How do you like the new forum?
If you click on your username in the upper right corner of the forum (along the black bar), there will be a link in the drop-down menu called "Content I Follow" which will show you everything you are subscribed to.

GerryC got a reaction from Golf for Life in Enough already!
We just got through dealing with an actual case of this, and someone unaware could possibly interpret these posts as real (after all, this is the internet), so I don't see this topic ending so well. Maybe in the Lounge, but definitely not in the product feedback forum...moved

Welcome fellow G8 owner
Definitely watch the videos for tips on how to use all of your products, and of course you can always ask questions on the forum and there are tons of people who can help you out!

I have left comments, reported that none of the reviews are helpful, and also reported abuse.

GerryC got a reaction from MAYBEN in Blackhawks vs Bruins
They were booing Gary Bettman for the lockout that cut the season in half.

Question, Dylan, how do you do something as simple as post a reply to a topic, which someone with my claimed experience should know how to do in their sleep? I need to know so I can get back to running my billion dollar multinational equity firm and still have time to detail cars on the side.

Everybody that he "met up" with or "got phone calls" from were the same two people each and every time he made any sort of reference about personal interaction with forum members, and at least one of the two were already acquaintances with him before joining the forum. He just wanted to make it seem as though he was going out of his way to help people who couldn't get help through the forum, and that these people were going out of their way to be saved by the paint correcting god he claimed to be.

GerryC reacted to ForceofWill in Glass towels???
The glass towels are for finishing the glass to perfect show status IMO. They're not for removing dirt and stuff from the windows. If my windows have pollen/dirt on them I usually clean them with GC and a utility style towel and then go back over with the Glass Towels and a LIGHT MIST of GC. The Glass Towels are like optic grade cloths for taking out streaks and leaving a perfectly clear glass.
I usually have it folded in a square and grab it with a fist half way into it and BUFF with them to a streak free perfect shine. I don't just wipe with them, it will come out of your hand.

GerryC got a reaction from THE Mook in Glass Cleaner
Mine is like that too, it is fine. The site images are illuminated and shot against a white background so the colors may appear a bit exaggerated online.

GerryC got a reaction from THE Mook in Advice - Gallon of GWC or DWC?
DWC is for really heavy metallic deposits, like if you have thick, caked on brake dust. It almost acts like a de-ironizer.
Most people only need GWC. As long as you only clean the wheels when they are cool to the touch, rinse the wheel thoroughly, and don't allow the cleaner to dry on the surface, you should have no issues wither either.

Basically means they contain no silicone, which could contaminate another car that is being prepped for paint and cause all sorts of problems when that other car gets sprayed.

GerryC got a reaction from 82Roadster in Soft Top Products
Adam's does not currently have a soft top cleaner. I'm pretty sure they've been testing but haven't come up with something they are 100% happy with. I know Adam has endorsed Ragg Topp in the past. If you are just looking for some light cleaning, you can mix a few ounces of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo with water, in a bottle with a foaming sprayer, and use a soft brush (like the interior brush) to clean a soft top. CUC will work for slightly dirtier tops, or ones that are stained, but be sure to test in an inconspicuous spot first.
