  1. Not really, I wasn't trying to be a wise guy. Some people work well after they have the ability to retire. That is good stuff.
  2. Interesting advice...You must be retired?
  3. Retired...good for you!!! Consider these steps 1. put together a good Adams plan, we can help. 2. Place your order(s) 3. :pc:The fun starts 4. Upon feeling or you need:help: come back here and ask questions 5. In the next couple weeks you will have when admiring all your work. 6. It won't be long until you will be:king: 7. Go show off your work 8. AND REMEMBER....:worth:
  4. Interesting idea tho Adam still has shell out the dough for these and the demand for the 8ft may be small. The cost would probably be high on a banner that big when ordering in small quantity. In the event Adam guesses wrong and doesn't sell the banners very quickly he will be sitting on them for a very long time before he gets his money back. Might not be a great use of his money. Having options is great but sometimes tough for a small business like Adams.
  5. Can you be a little more specific about the nature of your issue. I may be able to assist, if not me I am sure one of my accountants can.
  6. Although I voted for 5' I will buy whatever is available.
  7. I thought I had a good heavy duty cord from O Depot, Flex got real hot and my MB would bloe a fuse. I replaced it with Adams cord, the black one with a GFCI and have not had any problems at all. Cord mekes a very big difference especially when using a long cord that travels around a car. I learned the hard way and wasted money first at H Depot. Should've got Adams cord first.
  8. Many variables go into your answer. 1. How "perfect" do you want to keep it? What is your tolerance level. 2. The higher your expectations the better you washing habits will need to be. 3. Poor washing technique will require full correction more often. 4. As stated in a prior post, what are your driving conditions. 5. Perfect paint on a DD can consume a tremendous amount of time, how much time do you want to spend? Your answer lies in the response to the above questions, then time will tell. Everybody is different. Enjoy Adams products, perfect your technique and all will be well!!!
  9. This may help a bit, will look for more. http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/general-detailing-discussion-questions/11557.htm or http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/machine-polishing/17828.htm
  10. Welcome to the gang:cheers: Fire away with any questions if you ever need . The good group of guys here will have you in no time if you are not there already.
  11. I have the same issue when in too much sun. Once I changed this the problem went away.
  12. Been waiting, now I will load up on these. I prefer to see how dirty my towels are and that couldnt happen with the black. These are perfect!!!
  13. When Adam mentioned this to me several months ago, knowing him like many of us do, I thought to myself....WHAT A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR ADAM AND HIS TEAM!!!!! CONGRATS ADAM:cheers: Don't you just love it when a plan like this comes together!!!!!
  14. Follow the advice above. Improve your skills in a small area as suggested, then move on to the rest of your car. Simple? Yes! Once you figure out the correct process. Be patient! It works and you will get there. I too started on a brand new vehicle, once you start to figure it out, you'll love it, but it does take time.
  15. :welcomebanner: Toss out the old supplies, you are going to need room for all your gallon refills.
  16. Glad you made this post. I am going to try to rearrange a couple things to make it there.
  17. Ver cool Rich, thanks for posting!
  18. Congrats on choosing the red pill!

    Thanks bill!!!

Interesting, I was just gonna ask Bill what kind of new car I should buy? As stated before, the guys here are simply amazing. It all starts at the top, I believe with Adam, his crew, creating an excellent brand and forum then this generousity flows through.
  20. I have the vac n blo which works great. After using as a vac for about a year now, I would never risk using it to blow dry. I feel there is always a chance of little rocks shooting out at the paint. I use the MB for this.
